Got the Steak and ale pie, which was SOOO good!My wife had the pork - juicy and tasty.Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere was great - buzzing without the hurrying and running.

Unable to get on Saturday night without a reservation. Came back the next night with one, was much less crowded as well. Good food, great cocktails.

We had our works Christmas night out here. The atmosphere is great. A lot of these places will blare out loud music. But this was kept a low volume here. So you can engage in conversations while the music just soothes in background.I ordered the haggis-turkey-sticky toffee pudding. All excellent choices. Turkey was quite juicy.Would definitely come here again.

Came here for a friend's birthday and had a great wee night. The place is lovely visually, very warm feeling, but also literally warm, so prepare to use your menu as fans if you are right at the back.Food tasted amazing, they do a 3 courses for £32 menu or full menu. Either is a great pick, and actually the savings on the set menu isn't huge, so eating off the main menu is recommended.All round great night and the staff were super friendly and always on hand for drinks etc.

My favourite. I've been many times and never once has there been the slightest thing to complain about. The food and drinks are of very high standard and the service you get is always the absolute best. I just love it here.

First time in The Citizen in Glasgow, excellent place and thoroughly recommend! Great venue, decor, bar is amazing the service was second to none and our server Adam could not be more helpful! Very attentive! Great experience and will most definitely be back!! Already have been recommending to all my friends.

After arriving in Glasgow, the Citizen was the perfect dinner place. Downstairs, next to the bar offered a great atmosphere. Super friendly staff, excellent martini (though small). The prawns and mussels as a starter were fantastic and the fish and roast for the main entree were excellent. Highly recommend this place.
