Howdens - Blackpool

We have just chosen flooring for our kitchen and want to say a huge thank you to Lauren the kitchen designer who spent time and patience with us in providing all the information we needed. She couldn't have been more helpful.

I'd like to take a moment to show my gratitude to the staff of Howdens. I own a construction company and I use and recommend Howdens joiner to all my customers, we also use Howdens as our main suppliers. They are a professional team who treat the there customers with respect and equality. We have been happy with every purchase we have made, any issues that arrive with stock on a rare occasion is resolved immediately with no disruptions to either party.Their quality of kitchens depends is exceptional, from either end of the budget. Their designers are fantastic! Not only do they utilise the space but create a kitchen to the specific choice of your needs. Helping you with advice, cost savings and confidence with every kitchen they design and plan will satisfy your needs. We use a designer called Lee (Howdens Blackpool) he has planned and supplied me with over 50 kitchens, not only has his service to my business been professional and money saving it has also created an exceptional reputation for myself and my company.I would also like to thank Ryan and Linder (managers) for your time and dedication in helping me with my accounts. Couldn't ask for a better supplier!!

Awful experience with Howdens and a horrible attitude from the manager (Lee). After a number of visits checking the drawings on the big screen and Howdens measuring up we decided on a kitchen. This was months ago and had no issues up to this point. We then agreed on a date for the kitchen to be fitted. We called Howdens about 3 weeks prior to work starting to check when they were coming to do final measurements, after numerous calls to them, they finally sent Mark round 3 days before the kitchen was being fitted. He was here about 2 mins and said everything was fine. We then got a call saying the measurements were wrong and they need to re-do the design that we'd agreed on months ago. We chased and chased but we're constantly told Mark would call us back but he never did. Because of this, the sink we had bought is now the wrong size and has to be sent back. Howdens supplied their own sink but it's too big and doesn't fit the plans, they also had to supply an extractor because they gave us the wrong measurements and we now need to send that back too and on top of all that, the kitchen stops 6 inches shorter than where it's supposed to and one side is 3 inches shorter than the other, which means one of the plug sockets is now hanging out in the middle of nowhere. Absolute farce! I called yesterday and spoke to Lee (the manager) who tried telling me it's my fault because I approved the plans, and then called me a liar after I said we've never seen the plans despite asking many times, he later said they don't let customers see the plans! So I'm a liar for saying I've never seen the plans but they don't give them to customers? Not sure how that works. He came to look at the kitchen and said I was just being picky because I've changed my mind. I'll attach the picture Vs the original drawing (the only ones we've seen) - judge for yourself whether this is acceptable. Lee's attitude about this whole thing was absolutely disgusting.Bottom line is that we now have a kitchen that's obviously cost a few grand which doesn't match the designs we originally approved (and paid for) and Lee refuses to do anything about it despite acknowledging that they got the measurements wrong and it's their fault.Do yourself a favour and give them a wide berth.**Update 30/9/19**So far, Howdens have refused to do anything about the mess they have made of our kitchen, despite their acknowledgement that they've made mistakes.Well today, one of the cupboard doors HAS LITERALLY FALLEN OFF.On inspection, it looks like they have drilled the holes too big, then jammed bits of Rawl plug in as a quick fix (I'll add a picture). In what universe did they think that would hold it for 25 years? Completely unsafe, especially with small kids in the house.

Could have been better

Can't praise the service from this branch enough. Their kitchen designer, Lauren, did a fabulous job helping us finalize our design. The units came ready assembled, no problems there. We settled on Howden's appliances and are more than happy with them. A great team, quality units and are worthy of the 5 stars.

No, the cheapest kitchens in the world, but a really good quality and I would highly recommend the great Customer service we received.

Brilliant for kitchens, friendly advise and help. Extensive selection, showroom is very well professionally fitted out. No need to shop around , great all round service

Mark who helped design the layout of our new kitchen was very helpful .Also we ordered new internal doors and howdens gave a discount as we had purchased the kitchen also given us the hinges and handle etc .Kitchen is near on completion today as quartz wortops being fitted.Thank you to the team at howdens .Regards Mr Powell
