Adopt ed our cats from BARKS 7ish years ago and have supported them ever since. They are a great charity with loving volunteers that need help and donations to look after all the furry creatures that they care for.

BARKS will willingly lie about where they got a cat from if it means saving their own skin when it comes to being caught out about rehoming somebody else's cat.Their lies led to an unnecessary month long police investigation over an apparent theft of a cat and only told the truth when they themselves were questioned by the police; I almost spend thousands on solicitors based on their word alone, luckily for me I decided to go the police route.Even since they were caught out for, let's face it, lying about fraudulently rehoming a cat; they refused to take blame for the situation, patronised me in their response to my complaints about their conduct and tried to manipulate me emotionally into not reporting them to the charities commission for their actions. They did offer my adoption fee back, probably only because they knew if they didn't that I'd win more than that if I took them to court over it. I accepted the adoption fee and donated to another adoption centre that from what I can tell actually has competent people running it.Do not use BARKS, go to literally any other animal rescue place.

These people do an amazing job looking after the beautiful animals.. Here my gorgeous cat I adopted

I foster elderly cats from BARKS and they are so kind and caring with all the animals. The cat lives as if it's mine but if they get ill the charity pays for treatment and medication. They never turn away cats and small animals, they're very kind and considerate. I will always help out this charity in whatever small way I can.

The customer service was rude. I phoned twice the first time not telling me they rescue cats but the second time after blaintly ignoring my calls rudely answered like I told you earlier we only rehome rabbits Guinea pigs and cats. If your wanting to help people in a bad situation don’t be rude to start off with

Lovely set up lady running it was very kind n you could see that it was run with the love of animals the whole animal area was clean n arranged a cording to the animal we have a young cat to be rehome and I felt happy knowing that she'll be looked after until rehomed so I recommend to contact bark to see if they have a place for you furry friend if you have to rehome or want to adopt a huge thank you to bark

I've got two for babies from here, and would take more if I could. The staff are wonderful and very dedicated to the charity.

Friend got Arthur from Barks July 4th 2020 and he is beautufulx
