Gallus Pedals - Bike Tours in Glasgow

What a perfect way to see Glasgow! We drove in from Loch Lomond and straight to Gallus Pedals. Super introduction to Glasgow - both its character today as well as its colorful history. Great stops at the university, museums, botanical gardens, shopping districts - perfect way to get a feel for the layout of the city. Martin was a pleasure to spend time with - knowledgeable, entertaining, well traveled himself and very keen on the city he calls home. Can’t imagine a better way to get to see so many parts of the city. Cool bikes, easy terrain, and no trouble with traffic. Martin also provided a great post-ride summary and links to more detail of the sites he showed us as well as the stories behind them. A Must do in Glasgow ! Thanks Martin!

Phenomenal tour of Glasgow! EVERYONE visiting Glasgow MUST do this city tour.Martin, the tour guide, is a historian who knows the amazing history of this beautiful city. And he’s also nice & funny. :)Anyone can do this - it’s so easy because it’s flat.There’s no better way to explore Glasgow than by bicycle. Forget the stupid Hop-On-Hop-Off bus - it’s sucks. Instead, definitely do this Gallus Pedals bike tour.

This tour of Glasgow was very fun and informative. Martin was a great tour guide. I enjoyed the variety of sights and Martin's insights and conversation at each stop. Martin was sure to tailor the tour speed and information to us. The bikes were a great mode of transportation and have a cool story themselves.The communication in advance was great. Also, he gave us many good recommendations for the rest of our stay.

I did the tour yesterday and it was really amazing! The group was lovely, Martin explained a lot about Glasgow‘s history and we stopped at very cool spots to see and learn. Doing the tour by bike is such a great idea! It’s the most sustainable way to explore, as you can see a lot of the city without getting completely tired or using any motor vehicles. And of course it’s super fun! I definitely recommend this tour!

My husband & I booked a private tour with Martin and had a lovely time. Touring the city by bike allowed us to experience much more of the city than we likely would have otherwise. The historical & cultural context Martin shared along our stops gave us a great foundation for the remainder of our time in Glasgow. First, please visit Glasgow as it is defiantly worth exploring. We’ve been blessed to do bike tours throughout many major cities in the world and this ranks near the top. Martin is both personable and knowledgeable and as I said him, it’s like spending time with a close mate, experiencing his passion for the city he loves. The bikes are easy to use, the city supports many safe lanes, and we came away regretting we only booked one day to enjoy all the city has to offer. Our morning tour with Martin was simply the best!Touring a city by bike with a knowledgeable guide is the best way to go! Martin knows all of the small side streets and bike paths for a super safe tour. He was an even able to avoid most of the hills!!Martin is an articulate young man who is passionate about Glasgow and its history. Following his lead, we were treated to beautiful and historical sites we never would have seen had we chosen to walk on our own.I recommend this fine tour without any reservations at all!
