Dessert House

My wife loved their cookie dough, but recently they stopped taking phone orders and said they only take app orders which add a service charge for no reason. When we came to order in store, after waiting for 20 minutes for the order, their payment machine broke at the time of payment forcing us again to pay on the app. Absolutely cunning behaviour

Appalling service. Placed 2 orders via Uber Eats and Dessert House only made 1 and even that was wrong. Didn’t give refund for this even though there were things missing from the order. Daylight robbery!!!

Never gonna order again deluxe waffle don’t think so strawberries just mush what was there same as the cookie dough just mush strawberries were like frozen ones not fresh. Pictures of the dessert on website look totally different to what u actually get.

Placed 2 orders through uber whilst the store was open, 1 minute apart to the same address. Both orders accepted. 1 order never got made and the order which got made had items missing. I rang the store when order 1 left asking for an update on order 2 because it hadn't been marked as ready/collected. The response was they can see the orders been placed but they haven't prepared it because they only prepared what the manager told them to and now he's gone:) so the best thing to do would be to cancel the order and get money back from uber. If I'd just wanted my money and not the order would I have ordered?:) So 50% of the people didn't get their order. 7 people had a bad experience so 6 more reviews coming.UPDATE: This is a response to your replies. 1) It's not a family gang up. It's all those disappointed by the experience sharing their opinion. Told you it was 7 people. 2) Which part was stupidity? Every item ordered and PAID for was wanted. There was no mistake. So the stupidity is on your part for guessing otherwise. If I had accidently ordered and later requested a refund for my mistake would I get it? No its my fault. This was your fault. You made the decision to make 1 order which by the way was made incorrectly. Rather than accepting fault you attempted to shift blame. 3) I suggest you're very careful" lol don't try that. 4) If you handled dissatisfied customers better you wouldn't be trying to sell your business on Facebook."

Staff were very polite when taking my order. Very quick service all ready in 10 minutes!!! Ordered waffles that were packed perfectly and the ice cream was in separate tubs to make sure it didn't melt. The waffles were delicious crispy and slightly chewy with just the right amount of chocolate.

Milkshake was off when I looked into it and food was foul keep hanging the phone up on me I have evidence of the milkshake been curdled they refuse to do anything about it I suggest you sort it out and get in contact with me before I take this further I also was sick after drinking the smallest bit absolutely atrocious customer serviceAnd if you think you can type a sarcastic/ non professional response back to me I will take this further as I'm not tarnishing your reputation im been 100% honest

This place also does breakfast now under breakfast House as the name and dessert House for desserts.I ordered a veggie breakfast bowl and I have to say I was highly impressed. Absolutely smashed it!Fantastic idea guys. Probably the best tasting breakfast I've had in nuneaton. Keep it up.

Absolutely diabolical service, I’ve ordered twice for this place, should’ve learnt my lesson the first time. The first order took around an hour and a half, the waffle was soggy as the ice cream melted. The second time I ordered was a few days ago, the order never arrived. The restaurant claims they “could not contact me” which is false, the order was supposedly delivered at 12.35 am, this was obviously a lie just like multiple people are also reporting. The most embarrassing part is that I have a ring doorbell… no sign of a delivery what so ever. Please save yourself the stress, do not order from this awful business. It’s just embarrassing really.
