Great service and great products at reasonable price.Staff are very knowledgeable and demonstrated the products for us.They also offer lessons for many instruments here so great place to kit yourself out with everything you need to start playing an instrument.

I have used this store for quite a few years and have always been happy with their service. Those that grumble should be happy that someone has managed to keep a music store open in a small town like Deal when their predecessors have all closed.I have always been confident to send new musicians there knowing they will get good honest advice & had quite a few bits of kit off them myself over the years. It is good to be able to 'try before you buy' in a place that will welcome but not pressure you.This is a friendly helpful local business doing its best to offer a great service in the face of competition from the 'big boys.' If you want to keep a local option support it.

Yesterday, I brought in my electric guitar for a set up. Today I got a call back saying that it's ready for pick up! Upon arrival, I was given the opportunity to test my guitar out and make sure it's set up for how I like it. Without a doubt, my guitar now feels so much better to play than it did before. The staff are very helpful, knowledgable and friendly. 10/10 service. I highly recommend Mark 1 Music for any servicing or maintenance you might need. Many thanks to the experienced technician who used his expertise to make my guitar play better than new.

I took my teenage son over to have a look at some guitars, only early stages as he wanted to try some out and work out his budget. The staff were so helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. There's a lot to be said about going local rather than buying online. We'll definitely be returning, and I'd highly recommend you pay a visit.

Every musician in Kent should know about this emporium. Went to buy a few plectrums but could have come out with half a dozen instruments. Great selection, very friendly helpful staff and a place I would use if I was seriously going to buy a new instrument.Definitely worth the journey and is an absolute gem. Very impressed.

Friendly welcome to a shop on my first visit.This surprising shop is a bit of an Aladdin's cave, with far more good quality stock inside, than could ever ever be expected, by just looking in the windows.I will definitely return

Well stocked music shop offering a massive range of both new and VERY good condition used instruments, accessories, sheet music, amps/studio equipment. Independent, privately owned and run by incredibly helpful knowledgeable staff.Brilliant to see such a fine example of a music shop in a struggling industry in our high street!
