What a professional company. We were directed to them after a flood. they offered advice and were very knowledgeable. They even stored the pieces for longer than we expected and regularly checked in. I would highly recommend their services.

Incapable of fixing fire damaged jewelry or musical instruments. One keyboard was returned cleaned but with several brand new scratches. If you have the choice (our insurance company chose them) do not go with farcroft.

I was left heartbroken when my antique Constantinople plate was damaged. Finding Farcroft not only restored my plate to it’s former glory but in the process without realising they also restored my heart with happiness. Looking at my plate one would never guess that any damage had taken place. Farcroft’s whole team are a reflection of their professionalism and dedication to offer the best restoration and customer service to their customers. They are masters of their craft par excellence. After our kitchen table was damaged whilst in transit by removal firm, following insurance claim Farcroft were detailed to complete repair. We were initially advised repair would take 1-2 weeks and that the table top would be treated back to new appearance. After 2 wks I contacted Farcroft to be told work had not started and a further 2 wks were required when I was promised a call with delivery date. 2 wks on with still no call I rang them to be advised table was just in production and they need another week, again promised a follow up call which never came to the degree we were forced to escalate it up to production manager who arranged for delivery later that week therefore whole process took 6wks from collection to have simple repair done which we were told it was. The Table top showed no additional work as promised, whole process has been frustrating having a make numerous calls following failed promises. A poor service, terrible communication highlighting lack of customer support not a company we would recommend, Mr. Phillips.

Re: Farcroft. Cleaning, restoration and reinstatement of a house after fire/ smoke damage. Very rapid response once instructed by loss adjuster. Good understanding of the needs of a medieval cottage and willing to seek out correct materials. Happy to restore as much as possible at my request, as opposed to simply paint over the damage. Excellent foreman who was instructed to make sure I was entirely happy before the team left site. Good quality work. Thank you.

Total shambles of a contractor who claim for thousands of pounds of dehumidifying equipment that never arrives , quotes for scheme of works that is approved and isn’t done. Walk off site for weeks on end leaving unusable premises.Then start to install fittings with out approval. Then don’t send one call worth of updates. You’ve been an absolute joke of a company , totally Lazy , quoted for dehumidifying equipment that never even got to site.Imagine as owner of a salon , you are replacing items , not one item has been sent for approval. Instead they have started to install things without seeking permission. These are the clowns we are dealing withLet’s just say in November our salon / clinic was destroyed by burst pipe.By late February they hadn’t even cleared any of the stuff away.Left us without premises for weeks on end , replaced the project manager with a second who’s only made calls to me because I’ve asked for them. Send zero approval for any of the fittings being changed in the scheme of worksThese guys are a total joke.And appointed contractor by an insurance company at that.And as far as any reply goes Farcroft , it won’t be bought.Stay well clear !!

Restoration of my Grandfather's Medals.Totally unacceptable communication, service and ability.If you can't actually do something, why don't you say so ? February through to June with no feedback ( email / telephone / nothing ), and then it transpires that the original repair could not be done anyway.It's all somewhat cloying, since I was happy to pay a deposit without hesitation for the apparent 'expertise' !

We came across Farcroft Restorations through a loss adjuster.We walked away from this company, due to their incredible terms and conditions. Below, are three very important clauses that you should be aware of. Make sure you read this company's Terms and Conditions before making any decisions. These are Farcroft's T&Cs as at September 2017.By the way, you are the 'Buyer'. Farcroft is the 'Seller'.13) CONDITIONS AND WARRANTIESThe Seller gives no conditions or warranty that the goods Supplied are fit for the particular purpose for which the Buyer may require the same. The Buyer shall satisfy itself, prior to ordering, that the goods are fit and suitable for the purpose for which the Buyer intends them.15) CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSThe Seller shall be under no liability whatsoever (including without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing and liability in tort or for consequential loss or damage of any kind) for any defect in the failure or unsuitability for any purpose of goods or for any part thereof whether the same be due to faulty design, workmanship or material.17) DEFECTIVE GOODS AND RETURNSAny goods that are claimed by the Buyer to be defective through faulty materials or workmanship must be returned to the Seller within fourteen days from the date of receipt. On any such return, the Seller may decide in its absolute discretion whether to replace the goods or to credit the Buyer with the cost of purchase from the Seller. Failure to have the goods returned (or by agreement, to be collected by the Seller) within fourteen days, shall release the Seller from any liability whatsoever.
