Amazing, their family centric approach is truly heartwarming - no one is ever left behind. My child absolutely adores it there and we can’t fault a thing. The coaches go above and beyond for the children, creating nurturing environment where learning thrives! Just fantastic place for kids to grow and learn valuable skills. We have tried few other schools in Nottingham area, and this one is undoubtedly the best.

Warm, supportive, nurturing atmosphere for kids to learn Jiu-Jitsu - my kids had never done any martial arts before and they have quickly built skills, confidence and fitness, made friends and love attending the sessions. I really love that the coaches and participants are from all different backgrounds and it is such a respectful, welcoming and open space. Highly recommend.

We love Gracie Barra Bakersfield. The place is fantastic.From the moment we stepped through the door the coaches and team at the academy have been nothing but welcoming.Initially my youngest joined the Tiny Champs class and we did that together. Prior to him turning 5 the coaches then looked to transitioning into the next class and doing that alone and he’s not looked back since. Indeed since then, my other son and I have both joined the academy and we are all now proud members of the Gracie Barra Bakersfield family.

I started my Gracie Barra journey just a few months ago after taking my son to a few lessons. I was very apprehensive about begining such a physical discipline being in my 40s, but after speaking about my concerns, my mind was made up to make a start. It is one of the best things I have decided to do for myself in such a long time. I have felt challenged by the coaching team and also been allowed to take my foot off the gas and take a more mental approach when I've been under the weather.All in all a very welcoming place to train and meet new people.

Great facility and welcoming atmosphere, with incredible coaches.My boys have recently joined Jijitsu and I've been really impressed with their progress and how their confidence has grown. It is a wonderful place for my children to learn and develop skills. Each week there is a different skills they learn and chance to practice the skills learnt. Incorporating fun and games I would highly recommend.
