Kenton Hall Estate

We had a Yurt booked for two nights (Groupon). The welcome and introduction was friendly with the Yurt set in woodland with shared kitchen and outdoor BBQ area nearby, it is a lovely place. We headed off out for something to eat. Upon returning after 9pm we then had a good look round our accommodation which wth hindsight we should have done straight away. There was a lot of mess under and behind the furniture and bed, cobwebs and dead spiders throughout and then perhaps because of the inch gap under and around the entrance door earwigs and other insects wandering the ceiling and walls. The final straw for me was finding one in the bed. Due to it being late we felt nothing could reasonably done so not wanting to share our night with insects above and in our bed we left and headed home. I contacted Emily with my concerns the next morning but was told because it's essentially camping these things are to be expected and my expectations were too high. No refund was offered despite my request so I'm really disappointed because we'd been looking forward to our stay in what is a lovely setting.

A wonderful place to spend time. Friendly staff, Glampling, cookery school, farmers shop, private functions & special events. Truly a magical atmosphere about the place.

We recently hosted a hen do at the glamping site and it was absolutely great! Emily replied to every question I sent. The mix of activities was fab and the food provided was really great, including the considerate way it was laid out for us.I'd highly recommend hosting your glamping hen do here.

We visited this estate for a food festival. An amazing day out. Plenty of exceptional local produce and the grounds were brilliant.There was no entry charge and they provided a tractor-trailor ride around the farm.Everyone enjoyed the chocolate making lesson as well.Great family day out and it was all free. Brilliant and highly recommended.
