Greaves Wharfhouse

Pros:Great location, quiet, but not too quiet, with nice scenery. Building is a great old building with some good history which you are told about more in the information book in the cottage, a nice touch. Hosts try to make it as much like home as possible with recommendations on days out and food, as well as all you need provided, including bedding, toilet roll, bathing products and basic store food items.Cons:Whilst the place on the whole was clean it just need a little careful care and attention, mainly looking like most of the decor was done as a DIY job, things such as flooring uneven / not laid well, some messy paint jobs, gaps or uneven trim in bathroom, blind in living room a bit tatty and need replacing. That sort of thing, really just needs a bit of updating / redoing.

Excellent cottage a true home from home with everything you need to enjoy your break. Lots to do around. All essential shopping is local, with walking distance. Although there is no garden for dogs there is a small green across from the cottage that can be used even in pyjamas. I would definitely recommend this lovely place.
