Did a meat shop there yesterday. Superb quality and reasonably priceLamb shanks in red wine

Purchased the chicken stir fry and it was lovely, will get the beef one next time.The sausages are tasty and large and worth the price.

Asked for beef mince for my dog and the boss advised they had chicken thighs and was very pushy to buy them as he advised they would be okay. I asked if they were out of date and they advised they said it was fine and nowhere near the sell by date.Upon opening the packaging there was a strong smell of fish and it appeared to be well past its sell by date. In hindsight, it was obvious why they were pushing to buy chicken thighs as they were already out of date. This is appaling behaviour and there was no use by date on the packaging which they used to their advantage. Would definitely not recommend this place and if you do go there, please check to see if the meat is in date as they will sell it to you regardless.

Love this place! The 5kg chicken breasts are excellent for food prep and everything we have bought has been fantastic quality. Would definitely recommend this butchers.

Lovely butchers, very friendly, tasty options & the pies and pasties are lush too. We had a farmhouse pasty and it was delicious.

Bought 2 x T-bone steaks and a couple of other meats today, the steaks are highly recommended. They were very tasty and I will definitely be buying them again from there. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Farmers pantry supply our business with ar range of steaks grills and chicken. The steaks are our best seller and the compliments never stop. Odering is easy , convenienet, and on more than one occasion I've had a same day delivery at very short notice due to some unexpected last minute bookings.Through this difficult time in particular , FP staff have been amazing. I casually popped in before the school run on a Friday as my usual butchers which is closer had closed down. I wanted to grab a big slab of braising steak however they had already cut up their stock but they assured me they would order more in the next day (Saturday) and what time it should be there. They didn't take any preorders off me or money but gave me excellent and friendly customer service. The next day my huge slab was there which they perfectly prepared for me and I also got some scotch eggs and steak pies. Overall everything was excellent quality and I had perfect customer service as I managed to gather everything I needed to cook my Saturday meal without delay! Would recommend to anyone to pop in and have a chat about what they need - you will get the best advice and they will help you out where they can!Edit: forgot to add that the pricing was a really pleasant surprise too!
