Friendly staff, good parking. Excellent handover. Enjoyed narrow boat holiday on Kennet and Avon.Canal very congested in August and vegetation makes difficult mooring many moorings you had to use plank.Mooring was also hampered by live aboard or derelict boats so you can't get near some of the recommended visitor attractions, take food as you will rarely get near shop or pub. Water points are few and far between many were obstructed by the live aboard community.Booking via Hoseasons was horrific as I never received any confirmation. Emailed hire company directly and they were more than helpful. Top tip - book directly with them not via an agency.

Hired a day boat for a family day out, absolutely brilliant the staff were so helpful and nothing was to much trouble.had so much fun would definitely book again.

My family had a brilliant holiday. The staff were very friendly and we had a very detailed handover. Claverton our boat was superb, we especially liked the rear lounge set up, great for family interaction. Picking the boat up at Bradford-upon-Avon was excellent, easy access and parking. Weather was beautiful at the end of May 2023, great holiday….loved it. We will be back.

Brilliant time exploring the Kennet & Avon Canal with friends. Hired our narrowboat from Black Prince holidays and were very happy with all aspects of their service. The boat itself was top quality, with spacious rooms, modern fixtures and fittings and all the equipment you could need. This really is a relaxing way to spend a week and we all had great fun operating the locks and swing bridges etc. Plenty of great scenery and wildlife, plus lots of great places to eat and drink. Everybody was very friendly, with great camaraderie between all canal users. Loved it!

We had a 5 day, 4 night trip. 4 (1 couple) sleeping on 3 double beds.We had a nice trip along the canal and enjoyed the peaceful journey. There were helpful staff showing use how to use the boat and its services.It was a quiet engine when running and there were plenty of doors separating the areas for changing or showers. The showers we reported as faulty as they were scolding hot or ice cold.The double beds are made from 2 single mattresses so it did leave either a gap between them or a step which did become uncomfortable. 4 nights was enough to sleep on but wouldn't find it bearable with more nights.Overall its was a pleasant journey and would do enjoy to do it again with a few minor changes.

Amazing weekend on the canal to Bathwick. Good time of year to visit, not too busy and good mooring options. Boat was in good condition and lots of assistance provided for our journey. Will use them again!
