Soul Design with Anita

Had a lovely session with Anita. She is very generous with the amount of time she spends on a single session with her clients. She makes sure she gives as much support as possible and she will tell you things you need to hear to feel better right after the first session. I felt safe and cozy. I like that there was no need to share too much as Anita is quite professional and she just knows how to help without me telling the story of my life. She uses special tricks to get to know things about your life and you’ll be surprised how unaware you can be about possible causes of your stress, anxiety, trauma, dark thoughts, panic attacks, etc. If you are lucky enough to get a face-to-face session in her office you’ll be amazed how comfortable it is (!!) not even mentioning the fantastic views to the water and nature from the window that will make you feel very calm and homely and you will definitely want to come back! I’d certainly recommend attending a personal session even if it requires a trip to Orkney. 5* stars from me.

I cannot express just how amazing Anita is at what she does. She has given me a plethora of resources to heal my inner child, who, in truth, has been yearning for some love and attention. She helped me embrace myself as I am and live more authentically by encouraging me to give myself a little love each day. Not only that, but her fees are extremely reasonable for the effort she makes! :) I cannot recommend her enough!

After completing radiotherapy and chemotherapy for throat cancer I felt I needed some help. My daughter saw Soul designs advert so I contacted Anita. I wasn’t sure how she could help, but she did. She taught me some relaxation techniques and we talked through a lot of the difficulties I was facing. Anita is such a lovely person. She has a very caring nature. Cancer treatment is very hard going, both mentally and physically. Going to my weekly appointment with Anita was one thing I really looked forward too. She offers lots of different therapies, definitely worth a shout!

I have found my sessions with Anita extremely helpful in dealing with some bad mental health habits. She has given me many tools to work with that will remain with me. She has also visited my horses on 2 occasions... I wasn't sure what to expect but was very pleased with the results. After listening to Anita discuss one, it made me realise quite a few things and has changed the bond we have for the better, seeing him with fresh eyes. She also answered a couple of very specific questions for me. Another horse who is very sensitive had a lot of trapped energy which Anita helped release. In the following days and weeks I noticed positive changes in that horse whilst ridden. The horses were extremely relaxed in her company and definitely picked up on her calm positive energy.

Anita is a very attentive and active listener who puts you at ease just by sitting next to you and giving you all her attention. Meditations and psychological therapies are not new to me, but before I never went as deep as I did when I was guided by Anita. It was a truly magical experience. I left her beautiful studio calm, and at peace with myself and the world around me.Thank you, Anita!If you are going through hard times, experiencing stress, or feeling confused and lost, definitely make an appointment. You will feel much better after Anita's powerful healing session.

Going through a very stressful period in my life,someone recommended 'Soul Design'with Anita,I was sceptical but thought what have I got to lose!It was amazing!even after first visit,I felt a sense of calm.I laughed and I cried.Anita is caring,calming,compassionate with a good sense of humour,she gives you time!she treats you as an individual,giving you reassurance and helps make you feel safe and grounded.She has given me tools to work through anxiety,grief,anger and hurt,things from my past,which were festering and I hadn't realised,I was just plodding on!!The sun room/therapy room feels cosy and calming overlooking the bay,beautiful!I strongly recommend a visit,I'm definitely going back XIt has been a journey!!Thanks Anita ❤

Last March my husband Mike had a serious health crisis. What happened then, sent me into a very ‘down‘ state of mind, based around fear. Anita was recommended to me as someone who might be able to help.I had a look at her Facebook page – and what I saw there ‘rang true’ so I made an appointment to see her. It’s hard for me now to describe the despair I was in when I first went to ‘Seaways’, right on the shore in Finstown. Anita knew what to do – that’s the simplest and best way to put it.She helped me to ‘shift‘ some of the things my psyche was holding on to – as I now realise, had been holding on to for years/decades.I was doing well, then I had what I now consider to be some kind of mental breakdown. Went to Anita again.I now see that it was a break-down to enable a re-build. A re-build which Anita has helped me with and provided ‘scaffolding‘ for.I’ve done well, am doing well, extra-ordinarily well in the time since I first went to see her.I went along last Saturday, mainly thinking to assess what might be my next step or steps along my journey. Saturday was an extra-ordinary day all round - and my visit to Anita formed part of it.Sunday morning I emailed Anita to say……“I was wondering where yesterday had taken me – then - something fell into place and I can see more of the idea of the seed in the vortex becoming a flower – I brought fear up into the open, and it opened up, with me, and we can work together, positively – all part of one - and one strength.”I now embrace my journey, my life, and my-self. And…I recommend Anita!
