Absolute shambles. Unfortunately local folk trying to help are totally hamstrung by policy and micro management with common sense totally forgotten or deliberately ignored.

They need to learn people skills, especially when dealing with Penshioners. Very rude!!! An Orangutan can do a better job.

Superb staff, friendly and helpful. Arrived an hour early, but was seen within 10 minutes. Very efficient and courteous. Wouldn't get this treatment in London from a government office.

I phoned the DWP today and got hold of a really ignorant woman who was less than helpful.I had a query about a shortfall in my pension over the past five years and according to the tax office who i have got to say were very helpful in sorting out my self assesment but said that i would have to go onto the DWP .to get the correct figures as they are fed them by theDWP. When i told the woman that they obviously feed the info to the tax office she completely denied that they give the information and was quite argumentative. she said that the tax office can access their own site for the information which i replied that it must come from theDWP after all where else would the tax office get the information.THIS WOMAN SHOULDNT BE WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC.If i could mark zero stars, i would !!!
