Dobbies Garden Centre Lelant

Theres a good selection, & very well kept,the staff were knowledgeable & friendly ,one helped load my compost and chippings into my car ,i also purchased a variety of perennials, they would of had more stars but they are very expensive,this trip cost approx £200

Very well kept garden centre. You can tell the staff are looking after the plants well. Good selection of plants, general outdoor and garden goods, and a nice on site cafe too.

This garden centre is like a tardis! It looks small from the outside, but when you go in, it seems to be huge! So much selection, and reasonably priced, we came away with some new plants! Lovely displays, and a well laid out store!

Cafe: Helpful and friendly staff, but a dingy atmosphere caused by a predomenantly grey colour scheme, and a distinct lack of any artwork on the walls. Very little in the way of vegan options, menus which are out of date, and products advertised, but unavailable. Shaln't be returning here in a hurry.

Stopped in for breakfast and it was lovely.The restaurant was very clean, tidy, well organised, bright and airy.Staff were friendly and efficient.Breakfast was very nice and tasty.

Lovely garden centre and cafe. Got some half price Christmas trees on offer at present. Nice place to spend an hour. Plenty parking with nice staff.

Seem to have a good selection of plants but what I really called in for was to grab a coffee and some food. I realise this probably isn't the main business of garden centres in all areas but where I live Dobbies has a great cafe and lovely cakes. I was on holiday with my dog, we went into the garden centre and located the cafe only to see a sign saying 'No Dogs in the cafe', which is extremely disappointing as the Dobbies near me allows dogs in the cafe, as do the other 6 garden centres near where I live. Obviously I didn't go in so maybe it's very small but surely they could make a seating area undercover for people with dogs, they would have to go inside to order but it's sad they don't offer what other Dobbies and most garden centres do especially in a holiday area where people are traveling with dogs and might want to sit a while and have a coffee. Sadly I left and went somewhere else and went be going back as I always go for a coffee when I go to the garden centre

Always polite staff great plants but I tend to buy mostly sale bits but still have a lovely garden..

Very poor experience in the coffee shop, I know they are short of staff...BUT this probably the worse coffee I have had. Unfortunately we could not drink them but did not want to upset the staff by complaining at the time. Recruitment, Training and Pride is obviously the biggest challenge facing this particular restaurant, as per the wider industry.
