I challenge anyone to find a friendlier fish and chip shop… what lovely people!We popped in while on a course and they could not have been nicer, even giving one of us some free chips as they hadn’t ordered anything.The fish and chips taste great and I really like the fact that they do a mini fish, which is actually very generous. Not to much batter and nice and crispy. Very good price as well. Highly recommend.

Yummy! Really good fish and chips. Cod was lovely. Light batter. Proper chippy thick gravy and mushy peas. Friendly service. We came in the week, so plenty of seats. Beware weekends!

I do like this place, Never had a bad mealSo it's the only place I will go in Matlock Bath for my Fish and ChipsOnly one complaint I didn't like the thinness of the cutleryBut apart from that.Great place to eat

Had an absolutely beautiful meal of fish, chips and curry sauce. The fish was huge as tasted very fresh and was lovely and thick, the chips were the right amount of crispy and the curry was slightly spicy!Cost £10.50 to eat in.

Best fish and chips I've had in ages. Lovely crispy batter and the fish was cooked to perfection. Chip shop curry can be hit and miss but this was a lip smacking delight! Highly recommended.

Although this is the only chippy we’ve tried in Matlock Bath, we don’t feel the need to go anywhere else. Great food and service. Got the cod and haddock with chips, special shout-out to the mushy peas.

Absolutely delicious. The best fish and chips we ever had. The staff was amazing, kind and polite. Highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to have tasty food at a very reasonable price! 5*
