Excellent museum mainly focusing on a Bath company that made custom metal components in their workshops and later bottled mineral water and flavoured drinks. An amazing number of exhibits from this company as the always kept sample pieces. There were also exhibits about other Bath based industry including The Admeralty, Bath Stone and others.

I've been trying to visit this museum since 2015, but was always unfortunate in the timing of my visit! However, I finally made it and spent half a day merrily strolling through the museum and learning about the working class history of Bath. The museum is staffed by volunteers and people who love the city. You can also adopt a bottle if you're looking for an ingenious way to donate funds. They've done a fine job!

A delightful curio of a museum. Recommend the audio guide (included in the price) to get the most out of the visit. The core of the exhibit is based around an eclectic and diverse local business founded in the 19th C. making everything from plumbing fixtures to fizzy drinks... It's a delightful box of oddities.

A fantastic museum looking at the working history of Bath, with a large focus on the businesses of JB Bowler, whose vast collection of engineering ephemera comprise many of the displays. Particularly fascinating is the history and paraphernalia relating to early soft drinks manufacturing. There are also displays about the many and varied industries throughout Bath's history, all of which makes for a great museum for anyone with an interest in industrial history.

The bottling was pretty cool to learn about and how dangerous it used to be. The marble in the bottle was ingenious. Lots of interesting history about Bath and the Bowler family. It's worth the entrance fee.

Very cool insights into the Bath businessman and entrepreneur Bowler plus a view behind the curtain of the innovative business and creative history that Bath has inspired.
