Gorgeous little cafe, fabulous service by very friendly staff, very reasonable prices and the food is really good. We had a cream tea, the scones were fresh, warm and big, a really good cream tea all round. Can highly recommend this little gem of a cafe!

This is a wonderful place for breakfast and lunch. They do a great fried breakfast.They also have wonderful fish and chips that are so fresh.The fish is lightly battered but very crispy. It's worth a stop during lunchtime.The restaurant also has pictures from back in the day, so it is a nice little slice of history!The people who work there are also amazing and kind.

What a lovely experience. We went for lunch after a nice walk on the moors and the plates are generous, really yummy and at a good price. The staff is helpful and friendly and the crowd was a nice mixture of families, older folk, young groups of friends and people coming from a walk. Even the dogs are well behaved!

Amazing spot for lunch! The staff were all super friendly and gave fantastic service. We both ordered the cod and chips which didn't take long to be served and was really tasty! My latte was also great. There is parking right next to the cafe so we had a wander around the village after our meal which was lovely. Will definitely be back again!

This place is Amazing. Attentive friendly staff, I visit whenever I'm in the area . It's a hub for hikers from near and far. Plenty on the menu to satisfy all our needs. Dogs welcome too. Start and end your trek here. It's well worth it .

The food was excellent, all home cooked and fresh. The prices were very affordable and the menu offered large or smaller portions.The service and atmosphere was great also.A very welcoming place which allows dogs and well behaved children ha!Well worth a visit.

Very nice fish and chips and deserts... homemade and very good value for money. Friendly staff. Open all hours and long established. Made a point of eating a late lunch there on our way home from Tavistock to dartmouth. Always on our list for lunch!
