Tamnavulin Distillery is not opened for public, if you are Tamnavulin whiskey fan you can still see the Distillery from the road.

Very smooth, lovely, nearly as nice as the wife

This is a distillery not normally open to the public but wss open as part of the spirit of speyside whisky festival. What a lovely set of people. They let us know that tour guides wasn't their day job, as that was operating a distillery. But they did a great job. There passion for the job really shone through. This was a normal working day for the distillery and we as visitors were allowed to press the 'real' buttons ans add some liquids to the still. Can't wait for another 10 years or so to buy a bottle of my own fair handy work lol.The tasting was really well presented by our blender who had come up from Glasgow. 4 great whisky paired with white chocolate, melon, picnic bar. The drivers pack was really nice for those who needed to take away. I suggest taking a little funnel to transfer to the pack.You may have to wait until another festival and would certainly recommend a visit if you can.
