The Stone Horse Public House
Come here a lot on my lunch breaks with my dog. Very welcoming bar staff and chatty regulars. Food is always great home made quality (no 'chain like' frozen food imported here it seems - this type of pub seem to be far and few between now days.) Good selection of beers and at least one guest ale that changes nearly each time I go there so always something new to try. Will keep coming back.

The Stone Horse has always been a lovely pub but under new management recently it has improved even more. Old broken furniture has been replaced and menu updated this is a great pub for families and friends alike.

Great country pub. Always nice and busy. Decent food if a bit pricey for what it is and always have nice beer on. Owners are friendly and there is a nice garden out the back.

Popped into this Country Pub, and found they did a really good Sunday lunch. The portion of Pork with crackling was very decent. Home cooked with fresh veg. Dog friendly which makes it better, having been out to Cliffe Pools walking the dogs

Raj looked after us extremely well. The food was rich and very tasty.We travelled from Hertfordshire to visit this cute little pub and the food was just amazing.We would definitely return to this restaurant again as we enjoyed the atmosphere and the family pub.The owner looked after me and my family and we was definitely looked after.We plan to come after Christmas for a nice 3 course meal.

Went for a drink on a hot Sunday afternoon and found this lovely little boozer in the countryside unfortunately we see the menu and dodged the roast dinner due to the high price tag of around £18 and so glad we did after it being served to other customers, so to be fair I couldn't rate the taste of the food only the portion size which looked on the small size ,otherwise the service and drinks are OK. But cam only think there are better places to eat .

Enjoyed a spontaneous dinner here with the kids. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Nice atmosphere, traditional English pub busy but not rowdy. Clean and hygienic. Good pub food and desserts were also enjoyed by all ⭐️

Came in Friday for dinner really enjoyed it. So came back today for a light bite samosas are brilliant. New Owners and staff very friendly.
