Belfast City Council

This is what I came home to today. Binmen who can't empty bins properly. How hard is it? They have a machine to do it for them. Just move the lever up & down until it empties it properly. Now I need to wait 1 month with a stinky bin with god knows what creatures crawling about. Disgraceful.

Three missed recycle bin collections out of three so far this year and it's only 30th January 2020. The explanation is by the time the lorry gets to my home it's too heavy and can't take any more material. Can't come back because the loading window has closed on the Glider route. I've suggested the homes on the Glider Route should be serviced first so time will not be an issue and it won't be a problem to return to the non Glider addresses. A simple solution. THE MANAGER HASN'T RESOLVED THIS. There is no plan as far as I'm aware to resolve this SYSTEMATIC FAILURE!

Rubbish council, rubbish employer: no respect for Rate Payers, no respect for Employees other than cliques and clans wasting the air for Years, instead of being all sacked for faces a long time ago.More criminal organisation than gov institution-unless erasing CCTV evidences after assault on employee by line manager, threats sent to a victim and his legal representatives and sweeping dirt under carpet at any cost from Rate Payers' pocket is a standard in this country. No ethics, no honour, no class. The bottom-never seen such pathology in my life.European Court of Justice will now explain, why it is never a good idea to erase CCTV.Not safe workplace and definitely not recommended employer.

No matter what option you pick when phoning, you can't get through to anyone, EVER! I decided to select the complaints option to complain about this but was told I'd have to wait for this as well! Sort it out, it's embarrassing...

Their telephone service needs to be desired, as I have been trying to call the department and it was engaged the whole time from 9am this morning! I was kept on the line for nearly 10 mins! And it's now 10.20 am, I still can't get to speaking to a real person instead of an automated message! Disgrace, all I can say is it's a complete joke!

Absolutely useless, bin collections missed on a weekly basis. About as much use as a chocolate fireguard! not even worth one star! but had to give it to post the review.

More could be done if everyone would stop thinking about their own preservation at the expense of vulnerable ones that fallen through the gaps long time ago and got long forgotten cuz they just embraced it stoicly

I have called numerous times. The staff are helpful and consecrated. keep up the good work

I had a problem which Helen Morrissey dealt with even though it was not her realm of work she sorted it for me . She was helpful, polite and mannerly. I have never been dealt with.so well before she went above and beyond I wish there was more like her. Thank you so much x

I phoned general enquiries and was helped immensely by Nicola who gave me the details of what I needed. Nicola was very polite and friendly and told me that if I needed any more information just to ring her or anyone at general enquiries. It is great to speak to such friendly people as that's not the case with most places these days. Thanks Nicola
