The Kitchen Studio

17 years after John and his team installed our first kitchen, there was only one place to go when we needed a replacement. I'm delighted to say we encountered the same helpful, professional and flexible service. We were operating to a budget & once again John was happy for me to source my own appliance choices, etc. However we went with the competitively priced package he quoted ,(and let him do all the work). Finally the quality of work and attention to detail that Stewkley Stone and Steve his fitter delivered was absolutely superb.

This company installed my parents kitchen 20 years ago which still looks as good as the day it was installed. I have now bought my first property and was delighted to find the busines still open and run by the same family. The same professional and friendly people installed my kitchen last week with immaculate attention to detail. Extremely happy with the service throughout .

We had firm ideas about how we wanted our extended kitchen to look. John of Kitchen Studio listened patiently and then came up with something completely different which took full advantage of the new space. He would have stuck to our original idea if preferred but we are very glad that we took his advice. Not only does the kitchen look beautiful, it works very well. There were a couple of hitches but these were dealt with amicably. The fitting team were superb and everyone worked well with our builders. It was also a huge advantage having just one company dealing with the kitchen, the lovely flooring and the extended shower room that we were fitting at the same time. Highly recommended.

We are delighted with our new kitchen designed by John. He created a modern, functional kitchen, which has many attractive and useful features. We felt John responded well to any queries we raised and adapted the kitchen to meet our wishes. He supervised the project and the kitchen was installed by a very skilled fitter. Being a local firm, it was helpful to be able to take floor tiles and other samples home, to see how they looked in situ and ensure we were making the right choices.We would definitely recommend the design and service offered by Kitchen Studio. This may not be the cheapest option but we were very satisfied with the final result.

Can't recommend John and the Kitchen Studio highly enough! He and his team have designed and installed all 3 bedrooms for us over the years, and most recently my beautiful kitchen. Working together to produce a final design John was more than happy to listen to my ideas and make suggestions. I am so pleased with the result. The quality of the design, the units and the workmanship is first class. The whole team were friendly, helpful and above all professional, nothing was too much trouble.HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I have had the pleasure of working with John and his team on three occasions and find the service exemplary from start to finish.The quotes were accurate with everything itemised for two bedroom and one kitchen fitting and the materials used including all the appliances are of the highest standard.John is a traditional professional tradesman who instead of producing sub standard drawings does everything by hand and it is a pleasure to sit down and run through the finer details in a relaxed environment.The Kitchen Studio is not the cheapest but they are a quality outfit who care about the client. I highly recommend the company.

We absolutely love our new kitchen designed by John from the Kitchen studio! From start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure dealing with John, Paul & the team – very professional and immaculate attention to detail. We gave John a ‘ free hand’ to design our kitchen from scratch and we were thrilled to bits with the solution he came up with. It was slightly over our initial budget, but worth every penny! Highly recommended!

I would give this company zero stas if I could! This company believes that you (the customer) shouldnt question anything about some of the extortionate pricing that you are being quoted (£11k for a quartz worktop that within 5 mins on the web I found for £5k).Over a 3 month period we recieved 9 different quotes all still £10k over our original budget of £35k. We both work full time and so our weekend time is precious. However, nothing would move forward unless we travelled to their showrrom (which was 45 minutes away) only for them to unvail yet another overpriced quote.Any adjustments to the quotes such as removing the downlighers to cut cost was met with sulking and then the owner would start talking to my husband as if my opinions as a woman were now invalid!We stayed with them only because we had put in SO much of our time and effort to get to an install date although their unprossionalism and behaviour made us question a number of times what we were doing.3 weeks before the planned install date they pulled out of the job, the reason given was that they had felt they couldn't meet our high standards of what we expected from a £35k kitchen. They did tell us that they would send us the plans as a good will gesture as if that made everything ok and surprise suprise we never received them!Clearly they were out of their depth and can only cater for the budget end of the market. We feel we doged a bullet as who is to say that half way through the install and with our money they wouldnt have pulled out of the job.Note that any sudden glowing reviews that you see from this company are only there to counteract this one which is 100% factual and honest. When I originally looked there was only 1 review now miraculously there are 5, what does that tell you!
