Really pleased with the result obtained by Stamford Auction Rooms for an item of jewellery they recently sold on my behalf. Good communication before and after the sale and early settlement of the proceeds too. Will be very happy to use Jessica and her team in the future.

My first visit and the staff couldn't have been lovely! Extremely easy, friendly environment, very helpful and welcoming. My items were collected together, ready for me to package, and the toilet facilities were excellent! Even some lovely products for you to use! I am very satisfied and would recommend this auction over the very large auction, not too far south of this.

Stamford auction rooms, what a hidden gem one of our favourite places to buy antiques, art work and silver for our homes. We always receive a 5 star service from Jessica and her hand picked team. Her enthusiasm is so infectious and her expert knowledge is boundless. We trust her implicitly on all our purchases everthing we’ve bought has been professionally and well described. Condition reports are always very detailed and accurate it’s a joy to view and purchase. Her utube Chanel is great to watch and always on trend. Sale days even during the pandemic are a joy to attend online full of professionalism and wit....

WARNING TO ALL FUTURE CUSTOMERSThe level of professionalism executed from Stamford Auctions leaves a lot to be desired to which I will detail my experience dealing with their customer service team to the owner.My advice to any future client considering conducting business is as follows, unless you are absolute certain the lot you are considering purchasing from them is not widely available or you personally deem it difficult to obtain for years such as the chain I purchased, combing the auctions for 5 years due to its unique link, weight up your options. If you do consider yourself to be apart of this category, considering your lot easy to obtain elsewhere, I would conduct my business elsewhere. I have been dealing with auctions for over 10 years and this auction house is by far the most difficult requiring the buyer to personally organize the entire shipping process, from ensuring your parcel leaves the hands of the auctioneer to the shipping department to ensuring the staff get it to the post office you have to manage the entire process as their staff seem to forget to post your item when at the post office to which I have email proof of supplied by this Auction house. In my opinion an extremely unprofessional business practice to conduct.One needs to seriously consider the value of which your custom is appreciate in the eyes of the entire staff and the owner. If the lot you wish to purchase is not difficult to obtain elsewhere, like a sovereign or a gold band, my advice is seek it elsewhere unless you are getting an extremely good deal in this auction house, but be prepared to wait months unless you are in a position to call to the auction house and collect it personally, that’s if they can locate it in their premises as that’s a limiting factor of this company.I purchased the lot on the 11th of Feb. It took almost (3 plus weeks) before any contact was made to which I had to initiate. At this stage it is the 16th of March and I get an email to say my parcel was to be shipped. I am emailing them over the next week for the tracking number to no avail.Then I get an email on the 22nd of March to say my parcel has been shipped at 12:02 midday but then I get an email 52 mins later stating the package is still in their possession. By the 28th of March they finally manage to post it.Completely unacceptable business practice to conduct, over promising clients with inaccurate and misleading information.Be warned to not purchased expecting a reasonable arrival time, you will be disappointed! (Almost 2 months, just to get it shipped from their postage department!)

Fantastic auction house, they go that extra mile, professional and friendly, I will definitely be back :) wonderful service !
