Amazing! Wonderful experience, the two hosts were incredible and did an amazing job at entertaining and scaring. I am not a huge fan of audience participation, I much prefer to follow along and hear the various stories and historical details of a location, and this was the perfect combination of both. It was also very rewarding to hear more diverse and interesting stories than expected, you will be hearing more than just ghost stories, even including mention of the secret common wealth! Would highly recommend this experience!

Fantastic tour! I would recommend to anyone who is interested in Liverpudlian folklore or the paranormal. The guides are both very knowledgeable and warm. The setting of St James' Cemetery is very atmospheric and has a rich history.

Brilliant evening last night at this event. We were met at the gate by the hosts, who were amazing throughout, dressed in period costume and holding burning lamps, who proceeded to entertain, thrill and fascinate for the entire duration of the tour which absolutely flew by.St James' Cemetery is very atmospheric, helped by the cold and slightly misty weather on the night. The hosts were knowledgeable and entertaining as we learned about the history and the folklore of both the cemetery itself and Liverpool in general.To be led around a Victorian cemetery, at night, by hosts in period costume and in character, lit by burning lamps was quite the immersive experience and we felt transported by it all.It was spooky to be there at night but also felt very safe and it made us want to go back again during the day and look around this fascinating place that we have walked past so many times and never even knew was there.Special thanks to the tour guides who were wonderful and made the evening so special.

This tour is the best city ghost tour I have been on without a doubt (and I go on a lot of them!). The tour guides have a real talent for storytelling that brings tales from the past into the present. They open a gateway to the world of ghosts and ghouls and give you VIP permission to enter it. I’ll never look at St James’ cemetery the same way again…Thank you so much!
