10/10 .Amazing food. I am an indian foodie and have been for past 10 years and even went to India. Vada pav is amazing and spicey like in Mumbai .Thali is super and very heavy so you thats enough for the day as feels you up. I will 100% come back. I come from cardiff so I wish we would have had this quality of food here but don't mind driving for an amazing food

Been meaning to visit ever since they opened and so happy finally to have eaten here. Just like an Indian cafe in Malaysia, brilliant ambiance and really excellent vegetarian food. Such a great variety of curries and breads cooked freshly, fantastic value and full of South Asian customers. Gulan jamun was fluffy and airy and soaked in yummy syrup. Food arrived quickly and staff were friendly. It’s not table service - you order at the counter - but it’s a totally genuine and authentic informal dining experience. Also, lots of convenient parking. Will be back!

So I will say from the off, I'm not the biggest fan of Indian cuisine. It's not something I normally crave or must have, but I wanted to try something different and really step out of my comfort zone, so I thought hey, why not give it a try!I am not kidding when I say, I couldn't have asked for a better experience or food. Piping hot, fresh and with so many unique tastes and flavours that I can honestly say has left such a good impression on me that I have craved the food at Pappu Dosa ever since.If you aren't sure or not the biggest fan of Indian food like myself, trust me when I say you will be disappointed if you don't take the risk and try the food here, it will 100% change your mind.

Just found this amazing place randomly on google maps and it was one of my best decision to visit PAPPU DOSA.The freshness and quality of the ingredients were evident in every bite, and the chefs truly understand how to create harmonious and delicious vegetarian combinations. Whether you're a dedicated vegetarian or simply enjoy a meat-free meal from time to time, this restaurant's menu will satisfy and surprise you.I tasted Vada pav, Samosa Chat, Ghee Pongal and North Indian Thali. All the food items that I tried were soo fresh and tasty.Quantity of the food was also too good and it's worth visiting this place.The service is soo quick and chefs are multi-tasking.I left this restaurant with a heart full of happiness and a satisfied palate. The combination of exceptional vegetarian cuisine and top-notch hospitality makes this place a true gem.Do yourself a favour and indulge in this restaurant and You won't be disappointed.Waiting to visit this place again as soon as possible!!!

Cracking place to get a real feel for traditional Indian food. I found this on Google maps due to the high reviews from people. 5 stars from us. I had absolutely no clue what I was ordering and took the chance to order 2 or the meals on the menu. They were spicy but tasted brilliant. I loved the bread, They were special. We will go again! All veggie and don't forget to get a pudding. The one pic is a Semolina, now that's sweet! Beautiful.

11/10The best Indian food I have had in the UK so far! Thank you very much to the entire team of Pappu Dosa for satisfying my soul which was craving for authentic Indian food ever since I moved here. Everything was perfect. The taste. The quantity. The price. The service. The respectful staff. Pure Indian experience with the steel plates and retro bollywood songs. Loved it all. It's very far from the city center, I specially travelled all the way to eat at Pappu Dosa after hearing endless praises from my classmates. It's worth the time, money and effort. Please please please remain open on all days and open more branches, specially in the center or near the University. We Indian students crave for such delicious, authentic and pocket-friendly food.

Nice food, as authentic as you going to get in Bristol. Dosas' are prepared already and served reheated. There are not many places to sit and can get noisy very quickly once the seats are occupied. Overall I will go again for the food and the authenticity.Edit:I had the pleasure of visiting Pappu Dosa Restaurant once again, and I am happy to report that my experience this time was even better. As a return customer, I noticed the notable improvements in the dining atmosphere and quality of food that have been made since my last visit.Upon entering the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was ample space created by moving one table out. This small but significant change allowed for a more relaxed and comfortable dining environment. The noise level was also considerably reduced, making it more enjoyable to engage in conversation while savoring our delicious meal.As for the food, I ordered dosa and samosas this time. In contrast to my previous visit, the dosa was freshly prepared in front of us, adding an extra layer of authenticity and excitement to our dining experience. The samosas were also delightful, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures.The service was consistently friendly and prompt, and the overall atmosphere felt welcoming and warm. I will definitely be returning again soon to enjoy more of their scrumptious offerings.

So so so good. The most authentic Indian food I’ve had in the UK. The Dosa’s are amazing. I also got the thali which was unreal. Literally every dish they did was delicious. Really great value too. I can’t recommend this place enough if you want authentic amazing Indian food.
