Beautiful gardens but tearoom a little limited in choice.

Everything is CLOSED!!!!We drove for hours to see it, and it is closed. We were NOT the first that day. Why is it NOT told om Tripadviser and weebside?????

The Garden of the Rose was indeed a wonderful place to visit and such a great pity that it went into administration. Over the space of 3 years, I recorded at least 3000 photos of most of their specimens.It was one of the best sources for photographing not only the predominant roses, but many other flowers as well. Hopefully the absence of this tremendously valuable source of images will only be temporary.If the correct marketing strategy is applied, it can again become one of the premier venues for wedding receptions, gatherings of friends and of course enjoying the roses!For now, I'll still give it 5 *s for the memories! Let's hope it's reopened and we get to enjoy it all over again.

We had a wonderful afternoon here. Such an opportunity to see a wide variety of specimens in a superb garden. A lot of hard work has gone into this. The tearoom is nice but the prices are silly; the cakes are good but limited and the sandwiches though freshly made are on basic sliced bread and the choice is poor.Why oh, why are there no signs on the main road? Every time I drive down that road I am reminded of Butterfly World because of its signs... a great advertising chance is being missed.The 'heritage' rose project is very exciting indeed.The staff are warm, friendly and helpful.Thank you to those who rescued this garden and are developing it in such a wonderful way.A must visit!
