I visited the surgery (hub out of hours) due to feeling extreme exhaustion, explained the symptoms I was feeling. The Doctor didn’t do any observation and asked if I wanted a sick note and gave no advise about my symptoms.Luckily, I managed to get another appointment with a real doctor from my surgery the next day over the phone. The doctor gave me some advise and discussed next steps. She stated that the last doctor from Westcotes had recorded she had done my obs- which was untrue.

Got to see a dr today and he was brilliant, caring, thoughtful, listened. Thank you. Receptionist was helpful too. Felt like everyone was really trying. Much much better experience.

Don't worry about booking an appointment because if the doctor rings you and he can't hear you, he will just hang up and consider you having an appointment already. Patients are penalised for the doctor's failure to do their job and your only option is to ring 111 or ring back the next day for another appointment which might not be delivered for the same reason, and all the receptionist is going to say to you is you have to ring back the following day because all the doctors have been fully booked for the day.Time to look for a new practice!

Among the ten worst surgeries in Leicester, Westcotesis in the top one. Try to call them at exactly 8am, they are constantly busy and when they eventually answer, it's only to inform you that all available bookings for the day are taken please Try again tomorrow" and that's the setting for the rest of the week
