These buffoons called me to book my van in for an MOT, so my wife and I shaped the week around this. Drove there this morning and was greeted with a rude woman who could probably do with learning a few people skills!Only to find out that my van was too heavy for them to test, so a complete waste of my time, fuel, money and has completely left us in the thick of it as now I’m driving around a van that has no MOT and hugely inconvenience my holiday plans!Don’t waste your time with these clowns, trust in this review they are a bunch of dinlo’s!If the lady behind the desk spent more time reading the spec of my van (which they called me up on) rather than vaping, then this debacle could have easily been avoided!!

Overall friendly and helpful when it has come to book MOTs.However sadly very overpriced, was quoted £240 for MOT fixes, happened to be up in my hometown and asked my trusted garage there who were able to do it for under half that price! FS then redid the MOT a few days later and all checked out so clearly charging way more than needed.

I recently moved house & had my car booked in for its MOT which would be the first time using this garage. My car broke down a week before the MOT & FS were happy for it to be towed to their shop. The communication was diabolical, the day I was expecting to collect my car I called to check it's ready & found they're closed & I had to wait until the next working day to collect my car. When I did get my car 'repaired' & MOT for the best part of £700, I travelled no more than 5 miles before it broke down again. I called the workshop the next morning to ask their view & if their would be any courtesy in repairing the car considering how far I got & that it broke down grinding to a halt on a dual carriage where I could have had a fatal collision, & was told it's coincidental that it broke down twice & it's in no way their fault so no courtesy/good will of any kind would be given. I would strongly recommend not to use this garage for anything, they either didn't care about the car/customer or didn't know what they were doing.

I have used this garage previously without a problem and only stopped using them as they did away with their courtesy car and I could not get home by public transport.Today upon phoning I was directed to a sales person after the introductions I asked him for a full service and m.o.t on my vehicle gave him the expiry of the old m.o.t and asked for available dates before then. There then followed a series of questions car reg ,mileage fine then we start on my email, house address, phone no. Why? Now in full sales mode I'm offered a range of services beginning with a basic oil and filter change. NO i asked at the begining for a full service, the vehicle will be seen by a qualified mechanic once a year. Yes sir would you like to have your brake fluid checked its only £29-50. We also offer an enhanced oil change, an engine flush this is beneficial when adding new oil. Thats an extra... At this point I asked to cancel the whole deal. A full service and m.o.t how hard can it be? I expect all the fluids to be checked the belts checked and anything that will not last another year to be reported to me to make a decision on rectification. I'm sure that if it had got as far as a mechanic thats exactly what I would have got.

Have used FS for years on multiple cars. Never been 'oversold' and the work is done well at a fair price. One of the few garages where I trust their advice to be in my best interest.

Took my Ford here for an MOT back in March and was stunned at the low cost. First place I've ever been that actually charges what they quote with no hidden costs. The staff are so polite and genuine. Can't recommend enough

Wanted to buy a tyre for my scooter . Correctly priced at £38 on their website, the same as every other tyre dealer. Phoned me to say the price was incorrect and should be £87.50. Thieves and dishonest.Just checked their website (1/12/23) and 7 months later still listed at £38. Disgraceful company

My brakes seized and I had to call the AA, They managed to get me to F S Tyre & Service Centre and I have had the best service.Diagnosed, repaired and back to me really quickly and at half the price I expected. Excellent service, thank you very much. You couldn't have done more.
