This pub is definitely worth a visit for some food and drinks. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The food prices are fairly reasonable. You can add a drink to your meal for a pound or two. The food has plenty of flavour and good portions.

Lovely warm and friendly pub, staff very polite and friendly. Food was beautiful, we really enjoyed a few hours here. Highly recommended, great value and price for food.

Great beer/larger with seating area out front to watch the world go by. The pub is quite busy with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly staff who are on top of keeping the tables clean. A bit tatty/run down in some areas. But to the right person this could add to the traditional pub feeling. The toilets however are very clean and tidy. I will visit again.

I gave u 5* four years ago but deleted that and made new.I came for some food today and the food was incredible and the staff he was so polite and helpful.I gave u 5* last time i want to give u 7* but cant.Lovely hot cheese burger and chips.Chips lovely and crispy, not dry.Burger was lovely too with jalaneenoa.Warm jusge sponge cake with ice cream.

Very noisy but very cheap for what looked good portions of food. Bar service was average with staff chatting rather than serving. One member of staff was incredibly loud and could be heard across the room while greeting a friend. Despite these issues I would recommend for value for money.

Food, what can I say, we had breakfast eggs not cooked fully, and sausage was awful well over cooked cold beans cold bacon cold. The pub was freezing, so your hot cup of tea was cold in no time.Will not go in there again

We went for tea here. It was midweek so it was quiet. A traditional looking pub which does meals. The man behind the bar was friendly and gave us a warm welcome. We chose from the small plates selection of which there was plenty of choice ie: Chicken wings, Scampi, Meatballs, Onion rings, Garlic Bread, Chicken Goujons, Onion Bajhi, Chips, to name a few. We had a wait of about 45 mins but we weren't in a rush, and it was well worth the wait. There were 13 plates between us and with 2 drinks the bill came to a reasonable £44. Definitely worth a visit.
