Mia Nail Salon

Visited twice a while ago. First visit I was started 45 minutes late. Thought it must have been a one off/busy day. So on my next apt I booked first slot of the day & was actually waiting outside when they opened. 2 other people after me in queue & were obviously ‘regulars’ as greeted by names and told to sit & nails started, (before me..first in queue!) I’m literally standing in their shop & no one has addressed/greeted me. When I very reasonably asked what was going on the lady told me to ‘calm down’.The guy that did my nails on both occasions was great but the young lad that did my pedicure on the 2nd visit was rather rough & I feel, annoyed at me for questioning why they had initially ignored me.Not a great experience for me.Ive since tried KD nails & they run a strict bookings take priority policy & i’m always seen in good time.

Rude & unprofessionalI had booked a mani-pedi ahead of time but when I got there I realised they had me down only for colour. When I told them they became annoyed with me and although they gave me the mani-pedi everything from that point on was rushed & it was not a thorough job. Worst of all, I was told that it would better if I book with my regular salon in the future so I don’t get confused.All in all, I paid £53 to be told I’m stupid & not to come back. Unacceptable behaviour

I love the nails they do a beautiful job. Great colours great art. They do feet and hands all a fantastic job. But I took one star off for people skills. It's ok if you don't mind sitting in silence then it's great for you. But if your a chatty person that likes conversation then no. I just think the staff could be a bit more outgoing to there customers. They are very polite. The job they do and the prices I think are very reasonable. My nails was 33 pounds jel full set.

Booked an appointment and was still waiting around, went in for in fills, twice now my nails have chipped within a couple of days, I won't be returning to Mia's, not at all satisfied with the final finish

Not impressed at all. Came in for a set of acrylics and came out with the varnish all over my cuticles, many bubbles on my nails, as well as the fact they were not at all smooth. They look unprofessional and very messy. I could have done a better job myself. However he was very gentle with my nails and made sure I liked the shape and length. The shop was very busy when I came in and even though I had an appointment, I still waited half an hour until the manicure started. Others seemed to have a better experience, probably as when they went it was less busy and the technician could have taken more time. Not worth the £27 I paid.

Fantastic job done from a picture my daughter showed the gentleman. Was a great experience for her for the first time having her nails done. I would recommend to pre book , even if they are running a bit late atleast you will be ahead of the que of the walk ins.

I used to come here a lot when i lived in the area, and now only come back every month or so, and i find it so annoying that I book an appt for when they open and then I still end up waiting 40 minuets to be seen because they let people go before you without an appt, and even when you mention you have one they dont care. I dont book an appt because i want to sit for nearly an hour waiting. Sort it out.

Great care and attention was taken on all stages of removal and application. Very polite and patient with new customers. Thank you, I will be back!

I booked an appointment and then when I arrived, I was told to sit down and wait amongst everyone who hadn't even booked. I booked the appointment because I needed to be in and out by a certain time. I definitely won't be going back. Instead I went to the one near Dfine hairdresser and they were great. I recommend going there instead.
