Westcliff Beach
Lovely sandy beach. It does get busy really quick. However, there is a long stretch of the beach but ur not far from the main. Couple of eating drinking places around. Green ground as well as sandy patch for some beach fun. It helps that there are planty cafes that serve some delicious food. Nice ice cream parlours that serve the famous Rossis of Southend ice cream.

Westcliff Beach
I am not impressed how can this be the 2 best beach in soulthend. It is muddy and too close to the centre of soulthend on sea. The road is also right next to the beach. I would rather go to shoeburyness beach. You have to cross the road to go to the toilet and it is insanely dirty and smells like ballons. I would give it an 3.1/10. The tide comes too close.

Westcliff Beach
First time coming here and very happy to say I'd come again. There are parts of the beach with sand and parts with pebbles so if you're looking for a sandy bit keep going. The tide comes up all the way so don't leave your stuff too long, but that was only for a short while and we went to get food before coming back to sit on the beach again. Quite busy the day we went but not over crowded and lots of restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner. Can't argue that for a beach in the UK!

Nice beach, just off the road & pavement made up of lots of small stones and lots of small & large people. Lots of slimy seaweed under foot when in the water - if you like that kind of thing. Overall just so happy to chill by the sea in the sun can't really give it anything but 5 stars

not my fave, right next to the road and since close to southend always packed, but there are some places to grab ice cream, fish n chips along the road and cafes, but the beach itself isnt that nice to sit around on as its quite rocky and has alot of seaweed washed up (saw a bunch of dead crabs laying around too) and theres some nasty smell from the water, the tide is also way too close, you have to cross the road for toilets too.. wouldnt really recomment

Always a pleasure to visit, anytime of year, but pricey for parking £2.60 an hour.

One of the most terrible places I have ever visited, specially if you tryna swim in there woow got few cuts under my feet gonna have to cancel work for few days
