OK, not much to see. But if you are walking Hadrians Wall from West to East this is really the first bit of wall remains you come across.

Hare Hill - Hadrian's Wall
This is the first chunk of wall on the west-to-east route, and was built up (by victorians, probably) to resemble the height of the whole wall. It's a tiny section, but as you keep going you'll encounter mile castles and turrets, and this one chunk on Hare Hill helps one visualize what the rest would have looked like.

Nice little piece of stone wall with information board. Note there is no car park so, if you come by car, you will have to park on the road somewhere. The roads are all pretty narrow around here with grassy or muddy verges.

Bloomin' heck two days hike along the Hadrian's Wall Path and this is the first bit of wall? Jokes aside a very cool moment to see the first standing section of wall and read the lovely information board.
