Superb. Reopened in April after significant renovation. Beautiful and thoughtfully curated artwork throughout. Great children’s library. Interesting exhibits throughout. Smart and well laid out. Great on-site cafe. Well worth a visit.

Since reopening, the Amelia Scott library/museum space is now a wonderful place in Tunbridge Wells. The blending of library, museum, exhibition space is a really good idea as previously they were distinct, separate and if you went for one, you didn't tend to go into the others. Also like the suggested" books put out as I've stumbled across a lot of new books. So even whilst I still buy a lot of books

Museum, gallery, library cafe and community centre. This is a cornucopia of community resources. I just came for the museum, and four excellent small galleries were more than enough to inform me about Tunbridge Wells. All set in the wonderful Amelia Scott building. If you are in Tunbridge Wells, you should go!

I've mixed feelings; I felt there was a lot of unused space on the ground floor. The adult library could have been larger as I felt cramped in between some bookcases & book choices were limited. The kids library was being used for story time, so I couldn't look for, nor get help with a child's language book. Help Points were very busy with an 8 min wait (I was there at 10:15). Gave the impression of being a large cafe & meeting point. Perhaps I might feel different about it, in time!

Recently given a face-lift, a real contemporary gallery space, community areas and excellent coffee. It's great to have a living, accessible cultural centre I the town. Go, be there and help it thrive.

A quirky collection of local exhibits in a stunning building, including some pretty special portraits. Learn more about the town's history, natural history and residents and enjoy an unusal and welcoming space for free.

Lovely calm place to visit, lots of information and artifacts to learn from. A great place for sparking children's interest in history and the local area.

This is a new building, and it is just an amazing place! They were extremely clever and the library and museum are together, so you can appreciate art whilst browsing to find a book. The stury rooms are also brand new and just a great seeltting. Definitely a place to go to if you need to read other catch up with studies.Staff is polite and take time to help you with watever you need. There is a piano, and there is always someone playing in the background, so it adds up positively to the experiece. To finish, there is a cafe downstairs with loads of options and great staff.

Spacious, clean, open plan library, decent lighting, and good views of the high street from the library's top floor.

Totally transformed from when I was a child visiting here and totally wonderful space. They've preserved all the exhibits in stylish cabinets and display areas. There's a temp exhibition space for kids, a beautiful atrium with artwork and a cool cafe. It reminds me of the Melbourne Central Library. The kids library is so well thought out with books displayed and not just housed. Murals on the wall depict scenes and people from Tunbridge Wells history. There are cubby holes and interactive displays. And also the old rocking horse and dolls house that used to be in the old museum. What an amazing space.
