Steve Wargent Painter and Decorator

We’ve recently used Steve to paint our stairs, hallway and daughters bedroom. He also hung wall paper as a feature wall in our daughters room.Steve’s workmanship was excellent, as was his punctuality and professionalism. During the two and a half years that we have known him Steve has worked single-handed on a wide range of projects for us both in the house and the garden. Steve recently decorated our sons bedroom and did a fantastic job to a high standard. He was punctual and professional at all times . I would highly recommend Steve for any decorating you need doing , he does a fantastic job and nothing is too much trouble .He is also very organised and tidy and great value . I am really enjoying having Steve working on my cottage refurbishment project. He is hard-working, pleasant and punctual. His enthusiasm and input are invaluable, along with his knowledge, skills and attention to detail.The environment is quite dusty and hectic, since part of the cottage is still being plastered and re-wired, but Steve is taking it all in his stride and does not let any of this chaos affect the quality of his work nor his temperament.I especially love the way we are working together, room by room, making decisions on colour and variations, based on how the light works in each space.I have found my painter at last.

Steve ticks all the boxes - and more.Steve has spent this week painting the ground floor of our house here in North Stratford. He has done a tremendous job: the kitchen, dining area, lounge and long narrow entrance hall are transformed and we are delighted with the result. But Steve's excellent painting/decorating skills are only part of the story. If you know him you will know that Steve is a really kind, thoughtful, helpful and considerate person, brilliant at problem-solving, a can-do professional and tremendous value for money. We are grateful to Steve for entering into the spirit of this decorating project and for being such an easy, friendly and fun person to have working in our house.

Had Steve work on my house early March, painting, I live in Cheshire so it was not a daily commute. He came up with my son and stayed​ for the week, working professionally, efficiently and to a high standard. He was also great company in the evening and the 3 of us enjoyed a couple of good night's out. Being a pensioner it can at times be worrying letting a tradesman into your house let alone stay for the week. All I have is praise for Steve and his work and that is why I have already arranged my next home project with him for April and look forward to that. He is not only trustworthy, professional and good value. He is also a top bloke and I would recommend him to all. He also likes his food !
