Jayne came to our home to help with our 13 week old German Shepherd puppy who was showing early signs of resource guarding and reactivity to dogs and we wanted to get the tools in our belt and this addressed as early as possible to be set up for success with our girl. Well we couldn’t have made a better decision than bringing Jayne in! She has made the most amazing difference to Roxy in just that one session to the point where the resource guarding is all but gone and we are fully equipped to deal with any nervousness around other dogs (although this too is so much improved!). Jayne is simply wonderful and I cannot thank or recommend her enough! It is no exaggeration to say the experience has been life changing!Our 8-month-old Australian Shepherd was displaying reactive behaviour, including lunging and barking on walks, barking constantly at noises in the house and barking whenever someone came to the door. The issues were escalating, and his reactivity even extended to the car, making leaving the house incredibly stressful - we dreaded going on walks or receiving visitors/deliveries - we dreaded simply stepping out of the front door. I was losing all confidence in myself as an owner, blaming myself and searching for answers online, trying techniques that were ineffective at best. It was heart-breaking to see Mordecai so stressed, especially since he is such a sweet and affectionate boy.Calling Jayne was the best decision I could have made. Her extensive knowledge and experience were evident throughout the entire process. Her practical approach is fantastic and after just one session, we saw an unbelievable difference in Mordecai's behaviour with many of the issues stopping then and there. Since then, our bond with Mordie has grown stronger than ever. He is a happier and more content dog, we see his confidence grow every day. I now cannot wait for our walks, and we enjoy exploring new places without any issues. Having visitors is no longer a source of stress and the barking indoors has stopped completely. The difference in just a month blows my mind.Mordie is still young and will require ongoing training and guidance from us, Jayne has given us the knowledge and skills to continue this journey and knowing she is there for additional support gives us peace of mind! So far we have had one follow up session with Jayne in a busy park in Exeter and we could not be happier or more proud of Mordie's behaviour.Jayne has given me back my confidence as an owner, I am beyond grateful for all she has done for us and look forward to working with her in the future - not because of behaviour issues this time though, but because Jayne has shown us the amazing things Mordecai is capable of and as he grows we only want to continue his learning and development.Thank you Jayne!

Wow I cannot recommend Jayne enough. She is absolutely amazing at what she does. Our Bruce was a big handful and very stressful. I was nearly at the point of a straight jacket. Bruce was biting and not listening to anything we asked. At 3 months old I wanted to have control over him. Within minutes of Jayne being in our home he was a completely different dog. Even after leaving, he is doing so well: after a few weeks I needed more help. Nothing is to much trouble and Jayne is always on hand.

Jayne has transformed our 7 month old golden retriever from pulling on the lead to walking gently beside us. Also not jumping up to greet people now and chasing other dogs and our cats! We had tried puppy classes and one to one training but Jayne was the only one to change his behaviour and he is now a delight to walk. We had a 3 hour one to one session in our home and thoroughly recommend Jayne for any dog behavioural problems. She is highly experienced and worth every penny. Jayne is always available on the phone for advice if required. Thank you so much Jayne.

Jayne has been amazing to help us with our rescue staffie Silver who was very reactive to other dogs and I had worked with other trainers and got nowhere. Jayne came to our house and really explored Silvers behaviours and motivations that made sense and gave us individualised tools that worked for us and Silver. I had another outdoor session with Jayne and her two dogs and Silver walked next to them which she’s never done. I’m so impressed and know it’s a work in progress but I can’t speak highly enough of Jayne and her calm approach. And she is always an email or phone call away brilliant service x

Great session with Jayne for my nervous reactive border collie on the lead. Jayne came out to my house even though I'm rural. My Collie had lunging barking behaviours on the lead but after just 1 session he is a lot more confident with other dogs and no barking or lunging. Great nutrition and appropriate lead advise. What can I say, Wow! We were having a few issues with our German shepherd puppy barking/trying to chase our cats, pretty much barking at any slight noise outside. He tried attacking the vacuum cleaner every time it came out, same with the hosepipe. He was becoming reactive on the lead but also very naughty off lead. For example running up to any dog he saw to try and play and would never come back when called. We tried another trainer who I think actually made the situation worse, I wish we had come to Jayne first. Getting in contact with Jayne is the best decision we could have made. She came to our house first to assess the situation and how we were dealing with it and unbelievably put an instant stop to most of his behaviours just with one technique. Absolutely amazing. We had an additional session out in a busy park today and again just brilliant. I am feeling a lot more confident to take him out in a busy place now which before I would dread. The cat situation is getting a lot better too but still work in progress. Jaynes knowledge and expertise is second to none and if you are having problems with your dog do not go to anyone other than Ashclyst dog training!

I cannot thank Jayne enough and would highly recommend her to anyone having issues with their pup!We have a 2 year old border collie with various issues such a jumping up and shoving visitors or anyone walking past, general hyperactivity and demanding behaviour, jealousy between myself and my partner, severe issue with traffic chasing and lunging at cars, and no confidence to have him off the lead.It had become very stressful to walk our dog and just become so much hassle it took all the fun out of owning a dog and felt like everything was hard work, but this has since been turned completely around, Jayne took no messing and on her first visit to our house has fixed issues without even giving our pup chance to even try the naughty behaviour in the first place, which left me speechless, I couldn't fault her or her techniques used, the advise and knowledge we were provided with has also been exceptional.We now have a dog that greets people with no jumping up and shoving, we can happily walk past strangers and he just ignores them, the jealous behaviours have stopped, i now have the confidence to have him off the lead so he can run around and enjoy himself knowing he will come back, we now have a lot happier calmer dog in general. It was also interesting to learn that without realising we were creating issues and with simple changes makes a massive difference.We are still a work in progress with walking on main roads with traffic but we have had a massive improvement thanks to Jayne and her patience, I now have the confidence to walk next to roads and the improvement is just mind blowing.Jaynes has always been on hand and been there to support us whenever we needed her and always had a new trick up her sleeve.I can honestly say that her training works immediately and with our dog he needed very little corrections after her session, that's how effective it is!Jayne has given me my confidence back and the relationship between myself and my dog is now stronger than ever, Thankyou again.
