Just rented a flat in Inverness through Mac and Mac. The attention from Karen in particular and the letting team in general, was first class. They couldn’t have been more accommodating. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Brilliant conveyancing, cannot fault our dealings with Mac and Mac. Katrina Ashbolt is fantastic. We have found her highly professional, but really approachable and an all-round good person. This is the second time Katrina has looked after a sale/purchase for us and I recommend her very very highly. It can be stressful buying and selling a property and at a time like that, it is important to have someone who is supportive and understanding. Katrina is just great, gets things done and keeps in touch and at the same time has a great sense of humour and is really likeable.Would always come to Mac and Mac and Katrina, she has been amazing.Thank you!!

Slow to reply, miss things and don’t keep you informed of cost of account don’t use

I recently purchased a flat through MacLeod & MacCallum and unfortunately there have been issues ever since. The process to purchase was smooth and the estate agents were great, however it has quickly become apparent of historic leakage issues and ongoing problems throughout the property that hindered it uninhabitable and in need of costly repairs.It came to light quite quickly that the sellers were aware of the historic leaks and ongoing issues but chose not to disclose this information during the transaction. The surveyor believes these should have been disclosed in his opinion and my solicitors have informed me they believe this is a case of wilful misrepresentation on the part of the seller, which leaves a new buyer in a very difficult position.I am now faced with the burden of appointing a court solicitor to resolve the matter, as recommended by my solicitors. The entire ordeal has been very time-consuming so far, draining and financially challenging. While I cannot place the entire blame on MacLeod & MacCullum, their responses to my solicitors did not address the concerns we raised, hence now being informed they believe there was wilful misrepresentation and needing to take the matter further.I would advise not purchasing via them to avoid the same fiasco we are currently going through and avoid them at all costs.

Mac & Mac have dealt with the lease of our property for almost 20 years. I can't rate the staff in the lettings department highly enough, namely Gemma Duncanson (our first point of contact and always ready with help and advice), Sarah Anne Gow, Karen and Jane. Our thanks to all you girls. We decided this year (2023) to sell the property and were transferred to Janette Dillon, who dealt with the sale professionally and efficiently and secured the asking price for us. Many thanks Janette. Ultimately, we have to pass on our gratitude to Lindsay Bishop for handling the legal side with speed, efficiency and professionalism. Thank you also Lindsay. We definitely recommend Mac & Mac.

Great agency! The lettings team is fantastic! I've just started my second tenancy with them. They tried to accommodate my needs and worked very hard to find me a new place after my landlord decided to sell my house. They're always approachable and supportive. I'm glad I could stay with them again! Highly recommended!

Without naming names, Our solicitor at Mac & Mac made the whole process of selling our property as pain free as it could be under the circumstances. I have no hesitation in recommending M&M for any conveyancing work in regard to selling a property and should the occasion arise again will certainly be using them.

Tried to book viewing for a property. Explained that as I was moving into the area I could only do weekends to which I was informed by 2 members of staff that viewing of the property was Mon - Fri only. Agreed that it would be acceptable for me to view externally at the weekend. Left my contact details and told both staff that I was extremely keen on the property and subject to viewing would be likely to make an offer. Was very concerned to arrive at the property and find viewings taking place. The staff member present was very helpful and apologetic but could not allow us to view as we did not have a booking.
