A grandiose ballroom situated a stones throw from the minster. The toilets are rather shabby compared to the rest of the buildings rooms, hence 4 stars.

Nice place to hold an event in a wonderful part of York. The ceilings are very tall making noise a bit of an issue, but otherwise good rooms for corporate events

Been there a couple of times now. Beautiful hall and fantastic location. Bar is small for the number of people that fit into the hall - can result in a bit of a wait to get served. The range of drinks they stock is OK, but not great - no single malts, limited wine choice, beer options seem to depend on what bottles they've got in. Staff seem good and it's a beautiful venue, just the bar options let it down a wee bit.

Wonderful. An amazing experience. The tasting menu with wine pairing was superb. We were still talking about it a week later. Hope to be back before too long. Thank you.

Great venue. The organizer woman could have better customer service skills. And their corkage policy is ridiculous when another catering service is pouring. Still, beautiful room.
