This might not be on many people's play list, but it should be! A very warm welcome awaits you.A young course that will only get better and better, it also has fantastic views over the valley toward Hardwick Hall.It has a very good mix of holes and a very testing 'Amen Corner' (holes 10, 11 & 12) although hole 9 could be added to that.Highly recommended for any standard of golfer.

Challenging course, very much course of two halves. Front 9 long, back 9 short. Have played on better greens and positioning off the tee is important. Staff very welcoming and good value for money.

Nice course, clubhouse is in a pub which doesn't match the quality of the course at all. Friendly staff, very down to earth, made us welcome. Had a good round, won't comment too much on the course as had been very wet then froze the day we were there so not seeing it at its best but given the conditions it was as good as can be expected. Very leafy so bring a lot of balls. Would be nice if there was a map on the scorecard as some of the holes were not obvious where the hole was or which way to play.

Great course, in superb condition. Only criticism was that some joker set out some rotating 360° sprinklers on holes 7 and 10 and we took a right soaking. Thankfully weather was brilliant and we soon dried off.

Take it for what it is. It has a very municipal feel to it. Its a really nice layout with some tricky holes and some short par 4s. Tee boxes are like playing out of the rough and we didn't find a flat green out there, every one is like a dome. Other then that good for the price.

Nat and Grant pulled the stops out to rescue our Society day for 24 players when the booked club let us down. This is a club with no pretensions and just a friendly atmosphere. Don't be fooled, this is a real test of golf, as picturesque, but as tough as anywhere you will have played. They've done a great job to stay in business in the face of adversity, so if you are round there way, give them your business. You won't regret it. Thanks Nat and Grant.
