Went here to see Tori Amos with my son. It was a full house as you'd expect but it's a great venue. The sound was amazing and the lighting superb and this is all 'in house' equipment so nothing special which makes it even more impressive.Although Tori didn't do a lot from her back catalogue the new stuff was impressive. The bass guitarist and drummer have to be applauded. It's just a pity that people can't do without drinking at these events and then spend concert time running to the loo.Skaar was the warm up act and she was great. From Norway she is coming back to do her own show in The Black Box in October and we have tickets for that.Watch this space.

Excellent venue for a concert. We regularly come here as 'cosier' than the big venues around Belfast.Staff welcoming, very helpful and friendly.Loos spotless and tidy despite large crowds.Prices in bar on a par with local bars etc and queues move quickly.Atmosphere in hall during concert brilliant. We saw Elvis tribute and really enjoyed the whole experience. Back in January for Three Amigos!

The Bootleg Beatles concert was fantastic tonight. A very good tribute band, great singers. Fantastic guitarists, drummer, silver musicians. The lighting, special effects and storyline of the Beatles musical mystery tour had the hall rocking. 4 costume changes. I loved every song they sang. They entertained all ages. The sound was fantastic. Well done everyone including the hall staff. I'll be back next year.

Lovely relaxed venue, seated quickly. No long waits at the bar. Some groups in the crowd were being inappropriately loud and would have like to see staff calm things which they didn't. Staff were friendly and sound was great

Been at this venue hundreds of times and always enjoy it. Tonight the Ulster Orchestra and Belfast Philharmonic Choir doing Stanford’s Requiem. Really excellent music & acoustic & even a short queue for drinks!! If tickets left buy at the door & save yourself the silly website fee!

The Ulster Hall has perhaps the best acoustics of any concert venue in Northern Ireland. Beautiful old building and great view and sound from virtually every seat.

Queen by Candlelight. Sound during first half was unbearable. Know it was a Rock concert but couldn't even make out the words the singers were singing. Improved in the second half.nearly walked out at 8pm, but having paid a total of £90 decided to stick it out. Think their sound engineer made adjustments for second half.

Great show and a small crowd made it even better. The only minor issues were the seats in the balcony, D1 and D2 are kind of obstructed viewing due to some safety glass at the stairs, same issue on the other side I'd assume. I understand why it's there but will remember not to get the same seats again. Still a great place with friendly staff.

Amazing night seeing Trivium again. Hadn't been in the Ulster Hall in well over 10 years so was nice to see the renovations. Staff were really helpful and friendly as I remember, onky downside or suggestion I would make is saying if the merch stand is card only or not, cos not everyone is comfortable bring a card incase of loss etc. But a great night in a beautiful building
