Waterside Residential Village

I lived at Waterside for two years and would not recommend. I felt neglected, overlooked and if anything a nuisance to the maintenance and owner. However, if they actually looked after their homes and kept on top of simple tasks maybe the houses would be in better shape and worth the money. The neglect we experienced resulted in myself, and I know of others, needing medical attention from living in a damp environment and are now stuck with an inhaler and other medication. As well as this, the house was given to us in a filthy and unkept condition. A DIY hole patch up in the living area, broken sofas and mould/damp in almost every room ( especially the top bedrooms). Its an insult to charge so much rent for such living conditions. Our house is without a doubt being left in a much better state than it was given to us and I hope the next residents don’t go through what we have. If the previous management wouldn’t help us we had to take care of issues ourselves to make it a safe living environment. Issues such as the bedrooms being freezing in the winter, waking up with frost on the inside of the window or my face wet from condensation, making us ill, our clothes and bedding wet also from the damp, wet/damp patches on the ceiling, a leak from the bathroom into our living area and tackling damp ourselves.

Living at waterside this past year was very pleasant and stress-free! I found the communication was very effective and I never had any problems. If I did have any problems then once reported, the maintenance team were very quick to respond and fix anything that needed work. The team were very friendly, especially Daniel and Katy - absolute stars! A big thank you to the team who made my time as happy as it could be!

My Experience at Student cribs has been wonderful most especially the staffs, they are very understanding, accommodating and highly polite. For the price is highly competitive compare to the facility you get. Overall, my stay at student cribs has been wonderful

Love this place as it is close to Salford University and is very convenient. It is such a safe and comfortable area to reside in as a student and I would recommend! Also, there is free parking for your car and a maintenance team on site to help. Student Cribs is like a home away from home :)

While the Crib has a slightly higher rent than some other places, it’s all inclusive price of £115 per week including quick remedy of any issues with the flat is very good value. The internet could be better and the walls need a thorough de-moulding and the tiles in the shower should go to the top — that said, everything is safe and friendly and warm and not having to worry about bills is brilliant. The staff are wonderful.

Been here a year 4 months. Good for the price flat, but rent is increasing significantly next year as it no longer includes electric bills. I would expect at least the rent to stay the same with this being the case. It's not quite as good value for money now, but it's a good little uni home

Lovely area to live in and the homes are very spacious. Although, when I did arrive at the beginning of my tenancy, the house was not cleaned and broken furniture wasn't replaced until I inquired. Staff are lovely, but one of the previous maintenance employees came across as unhelpful and untrained (and seemed to cause more problems instead of fixing them). This has recently been solved by the company and I am very grateful for this change.

Absolutely love this place and would stay forever if I could. Straight on it when you have a problem and my flat is great. I’ve been able to make it look like home as long as it goes straight back to how it was when I move out. Shoutout to the maintenance guy John, absolutely lovely and always there to help when it’s needed.

Best part of Waterside village is the staff. Really helpful and quick to respond for maintenance or any other request you might have. Rooms were nice and appliances/facilities fairly new and clean. Everywhere felt safe and secure. Great for parking, always had parking available even for guests plus it was free. Good Covid-19 response - with the opportunity to make a video tour for future tenants and earn £50 off the next rent. Overall, very happy with waterside village and its staff. Great place to live. Would highly recommend.
