I spent a good 40 minutes looking at places to eat in York my first evening. There is no shortage for sure. I possibly chose this more out of desperation but also on affordability.I had a warm welcome and without a reservation was able to be seated, (it seems booking might be advisable as all other patrons after me had pre booked).I ordered a pulled pork burger with coleslaw skinny fries and added the honey mustard dipping sauce. It was very flavoursome and a large burger with plenty of fries. One of the best pulled pork burgers I've eaten.Service was attentive but non intrusive.As a lone diner I appreciated no loud music just the gentle chatter of other customers this allowed me to read whilst I ate.Fantastic place well worth checking out if burgers are your bag.

Burgers tasted so good. Just all about really great flavour combinations. We upgraded our fries to pulled pork topped and although was a lot we couldn’t help but finish it all. Good selection of drinks although nothing on tap. Staff very friendly and accommodating, it was quite quiet when we went which meant a slightly strange atmosphere but we were too busy enjoying the burgers to care too much!

Traveling on business, discovered by chance, what a surprise. Quality burgers, excellent homemade sauce. Nice place, welcomed as you would always like when you enter a restaurant for the first time. My advice, go there

One of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Perfect bun, nice thick crispy bacon and the fries were divine. Also, just the right amount. I left feeling satisfyingly full, but not in pain. My only qualm was that I’m not in York long enough to try more of the menu. Hopefully they’re there for a long time to come 10/10

Visited for the first time today...Fantastic food, couldn't fault it one bit and will certainly be back.Recommend you book a table via their website.

Superb burger in a lovely setting. Really great service. We sat in the ‘back’ part of the restaurant and had a great view of the food being prepared. Very tasty!

Amazing staff and amazing food.Burgers were delicious and service was first class.Ordered cocktails which arrived and tasted fabulous, few minutes later the waitress came back to apologise about one of the cocktails as she said she had mis-measured it and redid the drink. Totally felt above and beyond and we wouldn't have noticed tbh but the honesty and care for their customers was very impressive.Highly recommended and would definitely return

Tiny restaurant serving the most delicious burgers!! All four of us agreed the best burgers we’d eaten in years. All came with fries and homemade sauces. We had 2 beef and 2 different chicken ones, all amazing. Very attentive friendly staff.

We were struggling to get in anywhere, but managed to squeeze in to Burgsy by luck. Great tasting burgers… we both had the goat cheese one, and didn’t disappoint. Sides and salads were over priced and small. We expected a lot better salad for the price. We walked away happy, just a little bit hungry after burger chips and salad. But I am a big man. Fairly expensive but tasted good.
