The Central Bar - JD Wetherspoon
The central bar is starting to look a little tired. The bar staff are young and, in my opinion, a little inexperienced. I paid my bill with a Scotish bank note and was stunned to hear that it wasn't, in his opinion, legal tender!!! I didn't order food, but to be fair, the food other people were eating looked appetising.Overall, it was an OK experience with reasonably priced ale as you would expect from a Wetherspoons establishment.

My friend had a little cut on their hand and the lovely Caitlin did everything in their power to find a plaster for us and Edern (sorry if I’ve spelt their name wrong) was also very considerate of our issue. They helped us eventually find the band aid. Also, a shout out to kessia to serving us our drinks all night in the highest regard (there was also a first with slightly blue hair that was also very very friend, but we didn’t get their name)- Harri Davies

The front of house staff!!! Never been to a spoons with such amazing staff. Always quick and ALWAYS have smiles on their faces.We had a problem and had to get a refund, the staff were fantasticManager was so helpful and the tall man who served us was so polite and kind.Would recommend this place for the front if house staff alone! Thanks for a wonderful time.

Sitting near the bar will mean that you will be listening to broken glass all evening as waiter does not know how to place a bottle in a bin.That experience place that pub in much below average. I'd say avoid.

I met a friend here for breakfast.Food was up to Weatherspoons standard, staff were friendly, toilets were clean and a little gaudy.Will definitely go to this one again.

It's good for taking a beer, relaxing with your friends, family, alone or your couple, there is calm and far away and not noisy. Waiters are very pleasant and friendly. I recommend it to you.

Good central location. Prompt service although did get the order a bit wrong. Needs a bit of a clean up. Good value. Ideally located for the station.

Chocolate ran out in both drinks machines.Tables full of plates and glasses.Lovely friendly staff. Clean well equipped toilets.Pleasant decor, great outside seating areas on roadside and out back. Busy, great atmosphere, just needs a bit quicker table clearing .
