Love this place. Trainers are great and very nice people. Always happy to see you and your dog. Dog has a great time and we have learnt so much. The additional Facebook groups you get with the classes are great and have lots of resources on them for doing home work. Would highly recommend.

My dog Hamish and I have attended a range of courses at Bankhouse Barkers over the last three years, from Puppy Skills to Foundation Agility. I have found them all extremely useful and fun, thanks to the knowledge, experience, patience and good humour of the trainers. The dog (and I) have learned so much. I wholeheartedly recommend Bankhouse Barkers!

We recently completed a 6 weeks puppy life skills course with Bankhouse Barkers. The course was very well run. A maximum of 5 puppies attend, which ensures the each pup and owner gets the support they need.Sam is an experienced,positive trainer who is clearly dedicated in supporting individuals understand the needs of their dogs. Our pup really enjoyed the sessions and it has helped her become a well rounded and more confident girl. We currently on the wating list to join agility and will definitely be attending more classes

Highly recommended. We did puppy class when our dog was 4month. This set us a solid foundation, Sam is very knowledgeable and experienced with every dog variety and understood our breed and helped us do so too. We’ve now progressed onto foundation agility which we all love, even though it is challenging at times Sam has a lot of patience with us and supports us every step of the way.

We have been members at Bankhouse Barkers now for about 3 1/2 years. The training we have received has always been brilliant and only rewards based methods are used. What I like most is that its not a one size fits all approach, they always try and make things achievable for all dogs and handlers (regardless of ability). I never thought I'd be able to take one of my dogs to any type of dog class as he is very reactive, but its like he's a different dog at agility. I've also done other classes with both my dogs including scent work, trick training and body awareness (plus many more). The instructors are very knowledgeable, approachable and sometimes absolutely hilarious. If you want to build your relationship with your dog, have a dog you can take anywhere and have a laugh at the same time this is the place to go!

Brilliant training! I've done the puppy course once and, in fact, I'm doing it a second time as it's so good and I want to embed the learning. It's not just the lessons. You get so much more: a FB group with tons of hints and tips, detailed information and ideas to use at home. I will definitely be coming back for the adolescent course! Highly recommended.

Amazing dog trainer! Sam helped us understand our dog's motivation, which we now know is necessary for successful training! Very informative classes, customised to our needs. Highly reccomend! Thanks a lot Sam :)

We recently enrolled on puppy life skills with our miniature daschund Betty, I can only say this course is highly recommended, very professional trainer, great outdoor venue, and very knowledgeable, our puppy Betty thoroughly enjoyed her 5 weeks and even won a prize, well done to Sam barker the trainer. My dog and I have been attending agility sessions with Sam for the past few months and absolutely love it! Sam is an excellent teacher and is great at adapting excersises to suit the individual dog and setting the dog up for success. We had a few private sessions before moving into classes and would recommend both for anyone wanting to give agility a go!
