Wonderful coffee and vibe with really friendly service.Unfortunately the breakfast had stodgy crumpets, overcooked asparagus, oily pancake and tiny portions for a steep price...

Best coconut milk cappuccino of our long journey! The croissant French toast and scrambled egg brunch were so so good! No exaggeration. Watermelon punch was a refreshing note to end on.

There are a lot of lovely cafes in Brighton serving delicious lunches. Unfortunately, this isn't one of them.Ordered avocado on toast with spinach and some sort of spiced nuts. What I got was 2 pieces of dry toast half a plain avocado, the smallest pinch of wilted spinach and a few peanuts.Dry, bland and unexciting. And nearly a tenner! When the coffee finally arrived it was delicious though. If you don't mind disinterested staff the coffee is worth it. But skip the food.

Cute little café on The Lanes of Brighton. Lovely atmosphere inside with nice decor as well as a lovely view of the little streets if sitting outside. We just stopped for coffees but seems like a lovely place for some breakfast or cakes too and the staff were very friendly.

This cute little cafe, with a pretty wooden facade all painted in a pastel Tiffany green, bake their own wares and they are delicious! Coffee is creamy and breakfast has interesting twists as well as traditional. The nicest experience will be had as the young and good looking staff will fuss over you offering the most delicious things in the nicest of ways. The young staff is really an asset and the owner would do well to take care of them as people as dedicated as these are hard to find.

Sat outside for breakfast with my boyfriend. Our server Wicky (I hope I’ve spelt that right!) was so lovely and accommodating, and was super friendly. Our food arrived so quickly and was soooo yummy! I had the crumpet florentine and my boyfriend had the French toast with bacon and they were both delicious! As two people who work in coffee shops we were also very delighted by the coffee ☕️

Was just passing and this place looked nice so we popped in, had some tea and coffee, a soup and a slice of cake! They were out of a few of the cakes around 2pm so you should come early to get the best ones. We had the elderflower lemon and raspberry cake and it was alright. The carrot soup tasted really fresh and delicious, though I added salt to suit my own taste.Cute decór, loved the way they used different muffin and pie tins to decorate the walls. And the staff were nice.Food: 7.5/10Service: 8.5/10Decor/look: 9/10

Great experience here. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. We had a pimms and gin bramble spritz (would highly recommend!) along with the food which was tasty. The atmosphere was great, the staff were helpful with recommending menu options when we had asked for this. Overall, really enjoyed my experience at Sugardough and will be returning! :)

If I could give more stars I would. I love this place so much I will definitely be coming back to brighton to come here again. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing, I love the little details in everything but its the waiters and waitresses that tie it all together. The service was phenomenal. The food was the cherry on top. Was so happy here cannot recommend this place enough! Props to the waitress with the curly hair she was so nice
