We approached Andy to help us with our 8 month old lab retriever. We were struggling with the pup pulling towards every dog on a walk (not aggressively but very enthusiastically!) and our attempts to address the behaviour were not having the desired effect. Very quickly on meeting us Andy's experience was evident as he clearly identified the issues and got to work on managing them. His calm, honest and direct approach was brilliant. We were aware that we were somehow causing the problem but Andy guided us through small changes that we could make that would ultimately change the behaviour. Whilst Andy was clear that the session would not completely fix things, the difference was amazing and we now have the confidence to continue the training in the right direction. We would not hesitate to approach Honoris again to assist us with any other training needs that we would like to address.

Our Labrador x Pointer Rudi has a huge prey drive and at 8 months old would run after other dogs, wildlife, small children, joggers, bikes basically anything that moves! Although not aggressive he’s very enthusiastic and excited and not everyone appreciated him forcing a hello onto them. After some embarrassing walks with him completely ignoring our recall he was then sadly confined to lead walking.I found Andy though Google, saw he had working dogs and hoped he would be the perfect fit to help us. A few weeks later we began the collar conditioning course and although we were initially apprehensive, there was no need. Every step was taken slowly allowing us the time to put in the practice and Andy made us feel completely at ease, he’s very knowledgeable without making you feel stupid, he allows you to make the decisions best for your dog without any pressure or judgement and he was always on hand for advice or checking in to see how it was going. We felt fully supported throughout the whole course.Each one to one session furthered our confidence and now only 5/6 weeks later we have a dog that is truly living his best off lead life and more importantly we actually enjoy taking him for a walk! We still have training to do going forward but I’m fully confident with everything Andy’s taught us we now have the right tools and the knowledge to progress. I couldn’t recommend Andy more to all dog owners needing help, we’re so grateful for the freedom Rudi now has. Thanks Andy.

I reached out for Andy’s help after my 17 month old male show cocker started to get reactive to other dog. Freddie would fixate on them and nothing I tried worked. After meeting Andy he quickly realised what I was doing wrong and gave me a lot of advice on how to fix it. By the end of our 1-1 I felt so much more confident and Freddie was reacting really well to his way of training. I can’t thank Andy enough a few days later I’m seeing an improvement in Freddies behaviour.

Owning a working cocker spaniel who is now 13 months old we were struggling with her pulling, heel work and needed help with training skills to progress.Our first one to one session Andy identified changes we needed to introduce to achieve results. Next day couldn’t wait for first walk changing from going out on slip lead to collar lead then spending 5 minutes each walk in a quiet area on her slip lead using the training advice. Wow so pleased with results. Can’t wait for our next lesson!!Andy is patient and explains things simply and clearly.Would highly recommend and so pleased with progress after one lesson.

We contacted Andy about our 1.5 year old cocker spaniel, as we needed help to get our wee man to control his excitement and stop barking and going crazy with other dogs. The difference in one session was mental being able to walk along side a few dogs without a reaction or even looking at them. Excited to put these actions into good use!
