First time visit to this surgery, now that it has 'merged' with St Peter's Medical Centre. Nice airy building with buzzer entry. Staff were friendly & helpful. Seats in waiting areas comfortable. Healthcare assistant I saw to be given a new Diabetes blood glucose monitor was delightful & knowledgeable. This new site is a bit of a hike from home for me, which challenged my lower left side disability, but I took the walk slowly in the sunshine & enjoyed the extra exercise. Was quite exhausted once home though & had to rest for the rest of the day. I prefer going to St Peter's Drs surgery in Oxford St because it is both closer to home, so convieint, & much more familiar to me. KM.

My son & i have had no problems with Albion Street Surgery Dr Sikdar & Dr Howlett are very welcoming & friendly, the receptionist's are friendly, we have only ever experienced one rude receptionist in all the years that we have been at this surgery, but overall I think they are a very good Dr's surgery because they have always been there for me & also for my son who surffer's with mental health issues, Adhd, ASD & learning difficulties. A big Thank you to the staff who have made our time at this surgery very warm & welcoming.

I dread having to call this doctors surgery when I’m feeling sick or in pain (like now). All the first point of contacts I have dealt with are rude and so not helpful. This time around it’s to give them information about a treatment transfers from Norwich and Norfolk to Brighton for Kidney issues which I need sorted and treatments booked in. Greeted with a very rude, condescending and patronising conversation before I hung up and I’ll try and call back later before I have to go to A and E and sort this out myself (not very helpful to the other medical staff this will have to be out on if this surgery doesn’t sort it self out)

This surgery is a joke, not a funny one at that!Despite providing a detailed outline of a repeat prescription, and giving them over the time that they said it would take for them to process it, they manged to mess up every aspect! First of all it wasn't sent, then they said it would be sent again, still not done, only when I was on the phone to them asking them to do it while I was in store did it actually get done, but even then it was wrong and items were missing. I had explained to them that I was leaving the country so if there were any problems to please get in touch, which they just decided to ignore. This means I don't have, and won't get, my prescription before I leave. The receptionist 'Amanda' has been rude and unhelpful throughout, blaming the doctors, the doctor I spoke with blamed the receptionist saying she hadn't given her the email explaining the time-frame. This culminated in me being told to wait for an hour and a half in a chemists, only to be hung up on when I phoned right at close of play to explain the chemist was closing, and asking them what I should do to get my prescription, whilst the receptionist decided to talk to her friend about leaving, but not covering the phone properly.I now don't have have the items I need, and won't be able to get them. 8 phone calls and 7 hours of my day wasted trying to chase up what is a simple request. Rudeness and an unwillingness to help throughout! It's such a shame that good surgeries in Brighton are closing and this 2nd rate quack office remains.Could not be less impressed

Went here through the emergency dental care service after being referred via calling 111. I had severe pain and swelling in the cheek but had not taken paracetamol which made the receptionist question my calling and suggested I take paracetamol and call back (they seemed very annoyed, probably because I'm a bit stubborn). Nevertheless I persisted and was given an appointment in 20 minutes. Funnily enough both the 111 service and myself was right; the receptionist soon warmed up once she saw her dentist colleague diagnose the issue as a serious case of buccal swelling which required antibiotics. They were then prescribed in the next 10 minutes, along with a note for my employers and I was out in 10 minutes. Job done, no drama.

Registered with them last year at the start of uni, they “lost” my registration form twice which contained a lot of personal information. Went in for an appointment once and they refused to even take me into another room. My appointment was done in the waiting area. Do not recommend.

A repeat of many comments already posted. Can never get through to them and I mean never! Doctors are always leaving - reception is quite often rude. When you want to discuss a result from the hospital etc its the receptionist (when you can get through) that tells you what the notes say...wow...I didn't think reception was qualified to be giving quite detailed analysis out over the phone. I thought that was the job of the doctor.

I used to see Dr potter but unfortunately she has left and I would rate 5 stars along with Dr sikdar. Dr sikdar was very relaxed and knew the problems I had without looking on the NHS websites or books, he's a very good Dr and I recommend that you see him if you go to this Dr surgery but there is never enough same day appointments in case of emergencies and some receptionists are very abrupt and not willing to see if they can do anything other than there are no appointments ring at 12pm or 8am... But I have rang 80 odd times before getting through as the line is busy and then there's no appointments. Lisa is very helpful she always goes out of her way to make sure I get some kind of care that is needed. But I do think this Dr surgery has gone downhill, this has always been my drs and the last couple of years I have been more stressed out after a phone call to receptionist than before I rang.

I came Albion St Surgery via NHS 111 because they accept emergency NHS treatments. They made an appointment for me that evening. I was VERY happy with the service. The receptionist, the assistant and the dentist were all friendly, and professional. For emergency and or temporary fillings I cannot fault them.Thank you for your help now I can sleep tonight! ♥️♥️
