Always good vibes here, right outside the train station for that first taste of Newcastle. Great beer and not badly priced. Staff friendly and helpful too.

We have eaten here in the train station side several times. The servers are good. The food comes out made to order. The prices are good. We like the menu. It’s convenient.

Staff was rude. Sign with “Free Croissant with every Hot drink until 11am” outside is misleading at best, as the croissant is the size of a thumb. Not particularly hygienic as the croissant was not served on a plate and it was placed on top of the countertop where everyone pays their bills with nothing underneath. Coffee was ok.

The Centurion is a cavernous pub at Newcastle Central Station. It's a traditional, no-frills boozer with a historic vibe. On match days it shows sport on a big screen, so can be a decent place to meet friends or have a last drink before a train ride home.

Met up with friends. Had food & drinks. Food delicious. Staff great. Will definitely be back. We all had lite bites (4) and (1) had a scampi meal.

Amazing food. Plus a great selection of beer, Lager and soft drinks. A great place to visit if passing, and an excellent place to visit after a long train journey!
