The Edge Theatre & Arts Centre
Great place. I've been here for both daytime and evening shows, as well as the Owen's little music makers sessions. There's so much on, it's really affordable, and great variety. The staff and volunteers I've met have all been so friendly and helpful.The cafe is great and really kid friendly. Always has yummy cakes and vegan options, too. Theatre space is intimate (small!) but perfect for the venue and the shows put on here.

Is there a quieter, cuter, better cafe in the heart of Chorlton? They have a lovely space, great coffee, and I don't remember when I had a better tasting cake. Coffee price is good, and there's WiFi. I was really surprised not to find more people working here on their laptops, honestly.

I went for the life celebration of Wyllie Longmore, and found the Edge welcoming, well laid out and comfortable. Cafe was good, they had alternative milks , vegan cake and goid coffee, and staff were friendly and helpful .
