Green Lane Garage
Have been using Green Lane Garage for a number of years now. Russell and the team are highly knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Their work is first class and they've always been happy to give (free) advice when looking for a new car and when I broke down on a holiday in Spain. I also think they are very reasonably priced for the level of knowledge and service they provide. Any garage that has been on the same site since 1951 is probably doing something right!

Took my Ford Fiesta here and wasn’t too sure what to expect at first, Spoke to the gentleman named Russ and he was very keen to help me and troubleshoot my issue. After booking my car in to get repaired he took the time to explain to me what was done and what has been repaired , after speedy and 5Star service my Fiesta runs better than it did before! Staff are excellent and the quality of service is amazing. Would highly recommend this garage for all your Car repairs and MOT needs! Very friendly and very reliable garage! Thanks again Guys !!

Just back from a 1200+ mile week in Yorkshire, 15 year old almost 80k car and didn't miss a beat, guess you can get plenty o grief come your way so wanted to re-address that with a thanks as no matter how mechanically gentle I try to be your work does the groundwork so well, cheers to you and the guys.

Took my van in after my usual garage found nothing wrong" when I asked them to diagnose a problem with the brakes. Russ at Green Lane found all 4 brake pad sliders were seized. I reckon I've done about 5000 miles with them seized as the previous garage had fitted these pads a couple of years ago when I bought the van - and I've only just discovered I don't have to change down to 2nd to go up hills (I'm actually not joking).So

First time using this garage but suitably impressed. Russ sorted a price for me quickly as needed a new alternator and managed to get the car in and done in a very good time... sooner than stated. Communication good, polite, friendly and welcoming, would definitely recommend and will be returning.

I recently had the catalytic converter stolen from my car and the garage were very helpful in assessing the damage for free and explaining my options. Ultimately, the car is now a write off but I really appreciated the time the staff took to help and at no point did I feel pressurised into paying for services that wouldn't have economical in the long-run. I'll certainly be back when I get my next car, although hopefully not for the same problem!
