The cakes and food are great, but what ruins the shop is the arguing behind the desk, the woman from the back even continued to argue while serving me, and tearing the cake bag in a mini rage.

Truffles did the catering for 44 people. 24 from heathfield branch and 20 from uckfield branch, for my daughter's funeral. She was only 25 years old x the food was amazing.

Firstly I'd like to say that I enjoyed some of the food, but that is the only good thing I have to say about this place.The middle aged rotund lady who I presume is the manager has been rude to me on more than one occasion. Short, sharp and unfriendly.I think things are a little overpriced as well, £6.20 for 4 fairly average flapjacks.The hot drinks I was served, were served in completely inadequate takeaway containers that covered our shorts as well.If you don't mind paying a little extra and being snapped at, then please enjoy!

They have really lovely cakes and savouries but the one reason I go most often is for their knot rolls. They are absolutely the best rolls I have ever had barring Scottish morning rolls, which I can no longer find in the South East. The knot rolls are fabulous, they freeze really well and when you take one out to defrost for lunch, it tastes just the same as it did on the day you bought it. Cannot recommend them enough

They only do wooden cutlery and don’t serve food on plates, only in go bags.No one asked if we wanted to eat in, just assumed we take it and leave.It felt we were an inconvenience to them simply by being there.Food was tasty but couldn’t enjoy it.

Yummy food that is good quality. However, it is very difficult to find vegan options, which was not great because I was with two vegans, so they had to just have soup because they literally couldn't have anything else. The portion sizes are also very small, but I understand that it's more of a bakery than a café so maybe that's why.

The staff are amazing. Some of the of the food is great. But very over priced. See photo attached. That basic ONLY cheese sandwich cost £3.20 or Tesco sells a cheese one for £1.10,

Lovely sausage roll and coffee. Very tempted by other tasty scrummy looking items but dinner waiting at home.
